Thank you!

Thanks!
A few people have already pointed out that a restart button is missing. I will definitely try to think more about these kind of features next time.

Thanks for the feedback!

I didn't really think about that problem, since I played the game so many times in development. In retrospect, I definitely could have made the different abilities clearer in some way. Next time I'll probably let someone else play the game before uploading it to fix these kinds of issues.

Thanks!

Honestly, I don't think I'll have the motivation to keep working on this game. I usually just leave my jam games as they are and move on to different projects.

Thanks!
When I came up with the idea for this game, I wanted to create something similar to the game Angry Birds. The game actually turned out quite different from what I had in mind at the beginning, but I it still relies heavily on the physics engine. Because of that it can sometimes seem a little random whether an object breaks or not. However, I'm pretty sure that there is a solution for each level that works every time.

Having different cat icons is a great idea. I wish I had thought of that while developing the game.

Thank you!
I will definitely try you game later.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback.
I will definitely try to improve my sound design in future projects.
Since I'm not very experienced as an artist, it's quite hard for me to create animations, but that is also something I'm trying to get better at.

Thank you!
I totally agree that the sound design isn't that good. I will try to improve in that area.

Glad you liked it!
I didn't really think about it in development but a reset button definitely would have been a nice feature.

I think it's super funny how we had a similar idea and also choose the same name for our projects.
Of course I tried your game too and it's amazing. Definitely one of the best jam games I played so far.

Thanks for your feedback.
Technically, you can reset a level by pressing escape and starting the level again, but that doesn't really work if you play in browser because escape only disables fullscreen mode. I totally agree that a reset button would be a very nice addition.

To complete level 4, you need to knock down the picture below the shelf, since it is the only way to get points in that level. You can't directly hit the picture but you can launch the red ball at it by using the ability of the orange cat.

Thank you very much!

Very nice game! There are a few games in this jam that are based on the same idea as yours, but this is the best implementation of it that I have tried so far. It feels very good gameplay-wise and the graphics look super cool. Especially, the animations are great.

I would have loved to play some more levels. If you want to keep working on this project, you could maybe think of another game mechanic to make the puzzles more complex and challenging.

Also, the user interface looks nice. Only the end screen was missing a button that allows you to quit the game or go back to the main menu, in my opinion.

Overall, this is one of my favorite games so far (and I already tried like 60 of them). :D
I really hate that I can't give you any points for audio.

The gameplay is nice but I feel like the boomerang guy needs some tuning. It almost seemed like I countered myself since my boomerang was slower than anything else, including myself. The ninja was sick tho. ;)

The audio and graphics are also very good. Personally, I would reduce the screen shake a little, at least when you play the ninja.

Overall, I had a lot of fun playing the game (especially the ninja) and I think you did a really good job.

Thank you!

I really like the music, but a few more sound effects would be nice. In my opinion, it always feels a lot better when you can also hear that you hit your enemy, opened a chest, took damage, etc.
I think that the rooms feel a little empty. A few more details would make exploring more interesting.
The gameplay is nice and challenging. Overall, the game is quite cool.

Thank you!

I don't know if it was a bug but usually all trees should move in the same direction. But maybe I just looked at it so often while testing that I didn't notice it. I will take a look at that.

Thank you very much!

The intro was epic.
It looks great and I like that the ammo is bigger than the shotgun. ;)
Struggled a little with the puzzle tho.

Thanks!

We are glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

We spent a lot of time working on the game so it seems very obvious for us, but next time we will definitely make a tutorial or something like that.

Thank you!

It is actually quite challenging at the beginning but it gets a lot easier after you picked up some souls (the things that give you bonus stats when you respawn). Maybe it's a little too hard at first but we think that is fine since dying is a main part of the game. :D
