I really wanna like this game. It looks so cool, the story seems like it has potential, the art, music, and voice acting is wonderful! But the gameplay... It needs some work. The ball gets stuck easily, bouncing endlessly back forth, or it reacts weirdly and even when i hit it, it ricochets and I lose health anyways. The broken blocks spawn in the wrong spaces. The colliders are not aligned properly. It is hard to tell the depth of the ball, leading to me thinking I am gonna hit it and not. It sucks even more because I feel like this could of easily been a really good game but I just cannot get into it because something that feels unfair keeps happening. I wish you guys the best with your game but I didn't even get through the first full level...

I absolutely loved this game! Was kinda sad it was so short. The lens mechanic was really cool and definitely has a lot of room for expansion. The world is super cute and was a joy to play through. The fact that things you couldn't see were still there was a little jarring but not too bad. I like the thought put into why the main character can do stuff while no one else can! They themselves are black and white so removing colors would have no effect! Very simple, very cute, very enjoyable, definitely one of the better ones despite its short length.

I like the way you interpreted the theme, and how that ties into the gameplay. It also adds some stakes that most rhythm games don't usually have. Love the scenery changing as you perform better! All in all really neat and impressive for a solo dev.

Definitely feels like a game I would find on something like Cool Math. And at least for me that is a huge compliment! Very cute and the mechanics gave me some trouble at first but were very enjoyable to master! Could definitely see myself trying to speedrun this it is so satisfying to gain a bunch of momentum! Also the art is adorable and the puzzles were well made. Really solid game all around.

A simple yet enjoyable little game. I like the pixel art, with almost a retro feel. Nice touch being able to  download your towers as well. Also nice dual use of the theme with both using blocks, and trying to block the arrows.

No piss vampire. broke as*/10.

I thought this game had a really cool art style! It is really well polished for how much time you had, especially with the circumstances you guys were in. Really glad this team was able to pull through with something cool. Couldn't beat the game cause the spider guys were just homing in on me ): but loved everything else about it especially the way you ended up reusing everything for a completely different idea!

Big fan of "Papers, Please" and the furry twist was very appreciated.  I love the crab boss and especially the silly music that played in his office. Really liked the art style and little details. I was cheering for the protogen to finally get in. The unfinished stuff was pretty jarring but I understand that sometimes things just don't work out like you want them.

I love it. Very trippy and fun. Love how simplistic yet understandable and also somehow nonsensical it is. Very much feels like I am in a dream.

This is really impressive from two people! Just sad that it ended so soon... Love the "There Is No Game" vibes.

For some reason the files just aren't uploaded anymore. I don't know if I made a mistake or if it failed to upload. I can't reupload them, can I? That is really sad because my friends worked really hard on this.

I don't know what happened. I uploaded the game and it was showing earlier, now it isn't.

It's not exactly finished but me and my friends worked really hard on it! Real proud of what we accomplished! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/297380

sorry for responding so late, the "hidden" boss was meant to be the second boss you faced but I never finished it. If you really want to find it, beat the first boss, then go to the bottom left and follow the path. When you reach the castle, go to the gate and press "space". As for the suggestion of adding npcs, I was planning on making the buildings near the start to be interactive, where each would sell different upgrades. Thanks for the detailed feedback!

Thank you so much! I worked very hard on this, and it is so awesome to see someone enjoy it! I made a system were your score goes up exponentially as your health drops, but it wasn't very clear to the player this was happening.

I'm still kind of new to making games so any critique would be very appreciated.

This game is awesome! Very short and minimalistic, but the gameplay is simple and fun. Plus the character is really cute.

This game is so cute, and I played long enough to get over 1500 dollars. Very nice submission!

The pictures at the top and the pillars around the place make the museum less plane and is nice to look at! Quick question though, is there a win condition or does it go forever?

I did use a particle system for the snow but couldn't get a image to look nice.

This is my first published game ever and it would be nice for some feedback.

Very nice game, but you can skip the fight by glitching past the elf guarding Santa.

The graphics and game design were amazing, but the character felt slippery in air and made it really hard to control for a platformer.

It's still pretty impressive for a game made in 2 days.

The main soundtrack was provided by Lesfm on pixabay.

This is my first game ever and was made in 3 days for a jam so hope you enjoy!

Thank you!

The game feels pretty repetitive as the levels do not really have any obstacles/enemies.

I have never done a game jam before, so I used some music from a site, which the rules allow as long as I provide credit. I got the music from pixibay so would saying at the end of the game "music provided by pixabay" be enough?

stuck theme?
