This is solid advice. After reading this yesterday I came to the conclusion that my current project is too damn long lol. Crushing to try and get it out by Friday was just too much. I'll release it next week instead. In the meantime my August release is already complete. I need to learn how to break things up into these bite sized pamphlets that people release here, I always sit down to write something brief and then end up with a 10k word sourcebook.

Thanks for the advice! Implemented!

Hello everyone! My name is Brendan and I'm very new to the itch.io community. My first project is a tabletop rpg game Die Dunkelelfen Chroniken. I have a lot of material already written and produced, how often should I be looking at releasing? How much is too much? What have your experiences been in creating a steady rhythm of downloads, without overwhelming your audience?

Any thoughts or experiences you have would be helpful! As a frame of reference, I am looking at a monthly release.

Thanks for taking the time to read!
