I'm crossing my fingers, hoping that we can finish these in time!

Hi, flufffables and I'm planning to join Spooktober as a solo VN dev! I'm planning on making a longer project than I usually do, so my adhd ass might derail the entire operation before I could complete it. It's a BL romcom fantasy visual novel with candy-inspired magical boys. 

So yeah, I'm hoping to find a fellow solo dev to share weekly updates with and hold each other accountable for progress! Doesn't have to include spoilers or details into anything, it could just be a bullet point list. I'm new-ish to discord but I'll try to be online at least once every week. Tried this a long time ago but came back to complete the entire season! This is such a ride and I'm glad that I have two more seasons to go ^_^

I'd like to say that Lottie is the best part of this because she is super cute and likeable, but to me the protagonist steals the show. I like how grounded and relatable the protagonist is. The dialogue and thoughts flow very naturally and are pretty well-written.

Pretty cute and funny! I'm dead from all the vampire puns and jokes. 

The art is so pretty and well-polished. Hibachi is so cute! And I don't think her behavior is weird at all, she's a great and professional chef :)

This is a short but cute game that gets pretty realistic at times. Ana needs a nap.

Who knew that a game of tic tac toe can decide your fate? I like the atmosphere in this, it's so mysterious that I want to find out more.

[The review below has spoilers!]

A deep, psychological, Kafkaesque thriller about capitalism, the wage gap and modern society. By embracing the forest and wanting to eat 'yummy food' all around, the snail expresses rebellion and a sense of justice against the system.

The boss snail wears a clean pressed blue suit and a tie despite being a snail. This juxtaposition reflects on the pretentiousness of corporate life such that you need to maintain a professional and distant facade even though underneath that, everyone is similarly animals. The frog's betrayal when the snail tries to escape from the boss shows that corruption exists beyond the elite and higher ups. The frog is a deep green and has a bulbous body, showing that it is the physical representation of greed which threw aside its morals for monetary gain. 

Finally, the person 'turned snail' wakes up and reveals that the transformation is a dream, and this open ending is a hopeful one. This shows that unlike the predicament of the snail, the person/player has the choice and autonomy to change their life for the better.

It's repetitive as hell, but it has an Ace Attorney reference so it's instantly 10/10. Sorry
