Glad to hear from you! I understand the issue faces pose when in low resolution, but you have found that sweet spot-- that balance between detail and clarity. The face is well communicated without any distracting shapes and it's details allow the mind to fill in the blanks. It stands on its own even when zoomed so far in. I'm very much looking forward to whatever you share next!

Woah, that is a cool character design. Phenomenal style. As a game programmer, I can relate to having to balance ambition and workload. Detail exponentially increases how much work is needed to add new things, and I compliment your choice towards focusing on animation over larger sprites. You have a real knack for effective animation, and I can't wait to see what is next :)
I really enjoy this style. The raw coloring gives it more depth and realism. When animated, I imagine it looks gorgeous! It might clash with the level art, though, as the latter is still more cartoony, but should the styles be balanced in the future, I know the result would be worth the effort. Anyways, glad to hear you are doing alright! Looking forward to see where you take this awesome project.
This is an interesting concept. I've noticed you've been looking to collaborate. I'm also a Godot Dev, and have an expansive collection of half-baked projects and feature demos. I'm seeking to work together with another like minded individual towards pushing a finished project. I don't know if you have found any commitments yet, but I added you on discord.
