Then we need to convert from Java to C#/ Unity. It is written using opengl ES. All that rendering would have to be rewritten to Unity. I think the approach of keeping it in Java is way easier as not much rewriting is needed.

I have this Android Game:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.logisoft.digger

It is written in Java.

I would like to release it on Steam. To that end we need to:

* Replace the Android specific code (mainly the wrapping activity) with a "main" class.

* Package it with a JRE so it can run as a standalone application.

PAY: On Android it is completely free. If we find a way to make money on Steam we can do a revshare. Main motivation should be to get experience in releasing a game. I don't think it is too difficult, maybe 1-2 weeks work. I don't think you need a lot of Java experience, maybe you can learn Java while doing it.

Let me know if you are interested :-)

Cheers,

Martin

Does anyone think a remake of this game could work on Android/ iOS, where you control the roller by tilting the phone?

Hi People,

I have this game idea and have learned from my last project that making a successful game is a lot easier and more fun with a team. Below is the idea, if you are interested in a coming along on the journey ping me your email or discord, a few words about your background and I will keep you posted/ invite you to a discord channel.

Cranium Cave

Supermario meets Worms in this 2D digging game in a fully destructible Box2d/ LiquidFun based Cave

Gameplay: You are a miner digging through a cave in search of treasure. The caves original inhabitants try and kill you. We will integrate liquids for lava, water, acid and gas effects.

Technology: Unity, Box2D, LiquidFun. Or maybe pixel based like the original worms.

Wanted: All positions: Developers, audio and graphics artists (could be a matter of using an AI or integrating asset store assets), marketing expertise (including social media managers), designers, story crafters, playtesters....

Enumeration: Team members will get register time spent and receive equity based on their proportion of total hours. Each collaborator will have a multiplier so that senior roles are enumerated higher per hour than junior ones.

Me: Software Developer working in finance atm, making games on the side. Have about 10 indie titles, some accumulating 50 mio downloads on Android.

I have made this game that could need a better trailer:

https://fourpixelsgames.itch.io/rebel

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2496160/Rebel/

It doesn't have to be super long. The existing one on Steam features clip scenes with AI generated graphics that people tell me they don't like. So maybe just some gameplay clipped together maybe overlaid with some text. I was told to use "davinci resolve" instead of the windows movie editor as it is better at overlaying text, and to clip to the music. But I don't really have any skills in trailer making so if you do and wanna help get in touch :-)

Cheers,

Martin

Would love your thoughts on this game:https://fourpixelsgames.itch.io/rebel

Not sure if I should keep working on it and which direction to take it in. Maybe it is what it is...
