I went ham and accidently shot Rocky's corpse :(

No problem. Thank you so much!

Also, when did you make it?

Hey, no problem! Developing a game on it's own is impressive for me. I know it's just another skill that takes practices but it's beyond me. And then to make that game truly playable and keeping the player wanting more is a talent in of itself. You're writing a story and world building, too.

I love horror, adventure and point and clicks, so this is a nice little game to play over a day or weekend.

Now, onto my issue... I have found the basement with what looks like a bloody chair on a rug with a motif Ive seen before throughout the game but I'm struggling from there. I love the added elements of the boxes and cabinets in his house and the garage next door turning even more sinister (dirty mags to bload soaked boxes lol). I've explored the backyard of his house to, and picked up on even more of the sinister goings on, but from there I'm stuck.

If I try to go back to the inn and go back to bed I can't as there's a hole in the floor. But based on the previous parts of the game I'd assume I have to go to sleep after discovering all there is to know about the town. I can't use the monolith, yet there's really nothing I can think of that I haven't done. Is something meant to trigger in the basement instead of him just saying "This is definitely blood..."?

By the way, thanks for replying. I just really want to finish this lol

Hi there,

Really enjoying this game despite a few hiccups along the way. Namely getting stuck in one of the apartments and having to restart the game, and it glitching in the seaside town where I wasn't able to meet Lucy in the Inn. Eventually managed to trigger that segment and get through to the next part...

Which I'm now stuck at lol I've found the monolith in the wooded area towards the top of the map (took me a lot of battles to get there lol) but it said that I need to take care of the "killer." I'm guessing the old trigger happy man on his porch?

I'm not sure what to do next and I've gone back into town and been through all the houses/buildings. There are the ghouls (residents?) but none in the cranky mans house. I also haven't found the lighthouse despite searching the top of the map past the guarded trail. I found the graves of Billy, Mum and Lucy. And the monolith but can't get through, as stated above. What do I do next? Regarding the killer, that is...?

Could you please give me a hint?

Also, I'd like to mention how unsettling yet addictive (I've had to restart it several times and list progress when it glitched out lol) this game has been. It's inspired me to play GB games again! (Been using an emulator on my phone). The story is interesting and at times like a fever dream... or should I say nightmare! It really gives you the impression that our protagonist is confused and lost while trying to navigate the two parallel worlds he's found himself in. I found the part about the residents in the original town unsettling... turning to ghouls and the player having to kill them, and therefore his loss, very visceral. I think I picked up on what was happening fairly quickly, yet despite knowing the horror the main character was committing, as well as I, the player, I still had to go on with the show, so to speak. I'm wondering if there's some Lovecraftian vibes here. Anyways, great game! Hence why I'm going to play some other of your creations. Just finished one and going to try another!

Made an account just to leave a comment ^_^'

This was a lovely short game with just enough of a story to keep me engaged and without giving too much away you were still able to World build. I've also played your game AF+ER, which I'm stuck on lol but I'll leave a comment under that thread soon. Just wanted to tell you how enjoyable your games have been so far!
