Hey, no problem! Developing a game on it's own is impressive for me. I know it's just another skill that takes practices but it's beyond me. And then to make that game truly playable and keeping the player wanting more is a talent in of itself. You're writing a story and world building, too.

I love horror, adventure and point and clicks, so this is a nice little game to play over a day or weekend.

Now, onto my issue... I have found the basement with what looks like a bloody chair on a rug with a motif Ive seen before throughout the game but I'm struggling from there. I love the added elements of the boxes and cabinets in his house and the garage next door turning even more sinister (dirty mags to bload soaked boxes lol). I've explored the backyard of his house to, and picked up on even more of the sinister goings on, but from there I'm stuck.

If I try to go back to the inn and go back to bed I can't as there's a hole in the floor. But based on the previous parts of the game I'd assume I have to go to sleep after discovering all there is to know about the town. I can't use the monolith, yet there's really nothing I can think of that I haven't done. Is something meant to trigger in the basement instead of him just saying "This is definitely blood..."?

By the way, thanks for replying. I just really want to finish this lol

I’ll try and dig up the game file this evening see if I can figure out what’s happening. It’s been so long since I’ve made that game I legitimately forgot haha

No problem. Thank you so much!

Also, when did you make it?

I believe 2021 haha

Crazy how the years have passed by so quickly! It feels like a long time but also like it was only just a year or so ago at the same time. Seems like a nice little project to work on during that trying time.

Have you checked yet how I can move forward? I'd really like to finish the game :)

he should appear on night two of your stay in the forest. So not on your first evening
