Die in the Dungeon - A Review

By Person

Goated ong

A really fun turn based rougelite reminiscent of games like Slay the Spire, a fun strategy game that is easy to learn but immensely difficult to master.

I'm astounded this game is free.

Materna - A Review

By Freddy Fazbearington III

An overall strong demo, this game mixes an uncomfortably realistic environment with the dark lighting and unnerving surroundings to create a truly nerve wracking environmental horror experience.

While I do believe the abrupt end to the demo was rather blunt and anticlimactic, it was still scary to walkthrough.

I killed voice 2 with a brick.

Death % - A Review

An overall short and simple game, I really enjoy the premise, though I do feel like the primary mechanic could have been used in some more creative ways.

It's a nice game jam game, and for that I give it an

Mooshie's Kitchen - A Review We've Been Eager to Make

By Freddy Fazbearington III

A genuinely fun and silly game despite its odd quality. We loved it, and remains as a favorite to this day.

Though it is buggy, with odd player detection, clipping models, and... mirrors. It adds an indisputable charm to the game, and it wouldn't be nearly as fun without it.

10/10, would pay real money to experience playing it for the first time again.

Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this game. -Person, Neck, and the Voices.

Furry Friend - A Review

By Person and Voice 2

Where’s the main menu? Seems a bit odd to just drop you in.

Neck enjoys baking bread.

The pills had no collision which felt very odd. Furthermore, there was no easy prompt that elaborated on how to interact so I spent a solid 30 seconds pressing buttons and jumping on the pill before I was able to interact. Eventually, my cursor managed to hang over the oddly placed hitbox.

The pills being an odd floating pickup had a very odd effect on the ambience, making it feel less like a part of the environment and more like a game object slapped on.

The jumpscare felt very weak. I fell off the edge and the predictable jumpscare just… waggled on screen for a second. Neck was very disappointed. It also took far too long to go away.

The model for Furry Friend seemed very oddly textured, like it was drawn as a raw sculpt and then plopped in. It doesn’t make it feel more scary, just more grimey. The shadows on the jumpscare also seemed overly underexposed.

Game’s physics felt very slippery. Even if it wasn’t too bad, I could still feel myself sliding a bit after running. This was especially bad when it came to slopes, which I found myself very quickly sliding down. This, in combination with the odd tile hitboxes, created a really janky and uncomfortable feel to the platforming.

“NAMI NO NAMI NAMI NO WHY NAMI.” - Person

The airplane accidentally soft locked me the first time, missing the odd window to interact with the pill in air.

I like the atmosphere of the environment. Also, I do believe it makes a bit more sense with the oddities once I noticed the more satirical figurine in a jar.

Overall, It was an odd game. Though it did appear to be a one off joke game, I do believe games should be able to maintain some quality and playability, even if it is satire.

As a joke, a 5/10, though due to its poor quality to stand as a game of its own, 3/10.

Maze of Bouncy Bear - A Review

By Neck

Neck saw this and stated, "Mazes are FUCKING STUPID."

I was tragically requested to rate this game.

0/10 Neck bit me. (Maybe next time you'll have a better idea.)

The Crypt Terror - A Review

By Frederick Fazbearington III

Opening sequence is oddly tedious and long. Wish I could skip the walls of exposition.

The models of people in the beginning are rather peculiar, though it may be stylistic.

I really like the pixelmapping’s appearance. It fits the style of the game very well, and I think it is executed quite serendipitously.

Floating Lantern. Odd but… charming, in a way.

The beginning being a vague maze feels unnecessary, but wasn’t particularly difficult. Neck is not fond of mazes, and additionally there was no challenge in the brief segment, making it feel rather unnecessary.

The move speed in the game is surprisingly reasonable. It doesn’t feel like I’ve broken out into a sprint, but it also doesn’t feel like I’m dragging my feet. The voices enjoyed the pace the gameplay moved at due to this.

Interactions with objects seemed a bit slow and finnecy, though it is a nice atmospheric touch.

Long staircases are long

The jumpscare at the end was actually really good. It got all of us and neck rather startled.

The blood basin altar thing prior to the ending seemed like a missed opportunity. Perhaps we missed something, but from the looks of it it didn’t provide much.

Overall, really good for a first ever horror game. It fits the theming of atmospheric horror and doesn’t go overboard with the fear factor. Well done!

You left us to ruin father. You will beget the day you strayed from the path of light and began to skulk into the filth you belong.

Overall a good improvement of your developmental skills, with higher resolution models and more distinct UI interfaces. I do feel the game was a bit too short and the ending very anticlimactic.
