Yes, most of the main cast and some of the side characters from SiC will appear at least as cameos, if not secondary/tertiary characters in this story as well.

I appreciate the feedback :) I do have plans to introduce some new characters in the next build, though for the time being things will progress in a fairly linear format until I can learn the programming side to make things more dynamic and random. I am also considering adding a map and various locations, but again I need to learn the code to be able to do so.
I agree with you on the character design ideas, the problem is Koikatsu is pretty limited in what it can do in general, but it's especially limited for male characters. I do have an athletic couple and a thicc goth girl designed already that I want to incorporate into future builds, but I'll have to play with the character creator more to see what else is possible.
Ren'py for me is pretty easy to work with, I don't have anything too complicated added yet (ie Gallery, Day/Night cycle, stat progression, etc.) but the coding is the easier part in my opinion. I use Koikatsu for the characters which is fairly user friendly for character creation and one-on-one B/G scenes using the vanilla studio, but other types of scenes are much harder to shoot in the modded studio. I thought about using Daz for more realistic looking characters but I definitely don't have the skill/patience to learn that lol.
Those are definitely interesting suggestions, I will keep those in mind when I'm writing the outline. I'd like to build the game to where players will only see the content they want to see without worrying about missing out. I have a lot of plans really lol, just a matter of me actually getting the time to sit down and write it all out.
Wow, these are some well thought out suggestions! I really appreciate the feedback :)
As far as the next build goes, it's hard to say what the ETA will be. I'm struggling to find the time and motivation to get it done, plus I want to start with a proper introduction and storyline to build up to what you see in the POC build. Best guess right now will be by the end of the year, which I know is not ideal but I will do the best I can to work more on the game. Comments like this definition give me a boost of motivation, so I sincerely appreciate it,
For a first build this game is very well done, reminds me a lot of Bawdy Traditions. One piece of constructive criticism, there isn't really a clear path to get to each NSFW event so maybe some sort of hint system to help progress to them. I'm not sure how RPGM works so I'm not sure if that's even possible lol. Regardless, keep up the good work! :)
The problem files already exist in the zip before they are extracted to my machine. Doesn't matter what language my machine is in, this game will not run because it is calling filenames that don't exist. I suggest you reupload the zip after confirming that the filenames being called match up with the names of the files in the folders.
The problem is many of the image files have illegal characters in the filenames from the Japanese characters being converted (see title images screenshot). I changed the name of the title image file to "Title" and replaced the Japanese name in the system.json file (see system json screenshot) and I was able to get the title screen to load, but I clicked newGame and immediately ran into another similar error message.
I hope this comes off as constructive criticism, I really don't want to discourage the developer as I love the story and idea of this game, it's just not what I was expecting after 12 hours in on "Story" mode.
I feel like as an adult game, this game would be better if Story mode removed the RPG elements entirely, with the exception of the adult stuff (lewdness, etc.) It's just too much of a grind for little to no reward, spending literal hours before seeing anything slightly lewd. Realistically, you could convert the game to something like Ren'py (though there would have to be a ton more renders, and I know it would be a ton of work) for people who are more interested in the adult content and keep the RPG Maker version for the people who like the RPG grind.
Again, I mean this to be constructive, this game has great potential and I would be interested in more if it weren't as much of a chore to play through.
