You could release it on steam today and I’d buy it.

I love the game concept and how it works with the theme. This game reminds me of playing flash games as a kid. I absolutely loved how objects scale would have to be shrunk in order to make others grow into the right place. Really smart!
I do think there are a lot of things that hurt the overall experience though..
The art at times makes it hard to differentiate which items can be sized or not. At the start that’s really cool but after realizing I have like 75 of these items to resize it then becomes… very frustrating. It runs into a problem a lot of point and click games have. It would probably have been good to add a key to highlight all the items that are not scaled properly instead of just showing what is scaled properly.
This becomes even more annoying with the fact that you have to let go of the scaling to check if it’s right EVERY TIME. It would be really awesome if when you got close to the correct scale the item highlighted instead of when letting go. OR an ever cooler concept would be having a photograph reference of the room that the player can pull up (maybe it’s in black and white for added challenge) that will make it so the player has some foundation to work off of.
Other than that, great work!

Although it may not technically be allowed… we will have to see how it goes
Sadly I broke the project but the assets and video that would of been in the game are on the itch.io page: https://fumpledump.itch.io/rural-blackout
Mine is sadly broken cause I made a stupid mistake at the end but at the last minute I uploaded a zip of added content that should be able to be integrate it with the day 3 build I believe: https://fumpledump.itch.io/rural-blackout
If someone wants to save it that would make my day. I’m so bummed out this happened.
I was really proud of my entry but I broke the project and hastily made a folder of the added features that were salvaged… if you want a challenge you can try and save it lol: https://fumpledump.itch.io/rural-blackout
Hey guys I submitted this project for Day 4 and was really proud of it but the old models got corrupted or something when I went to compress and upload it which was a stupid mistake on my part. as a last ditch effort I uploaded the added content and the video but honestly the project is definitely broken and would need day 3s work slapped on it.
If anyone is up to a weird debugging challenge then definitely see if you can fix my game. T_T
