I love the game concept and how it works with the theme. This game reminds me of playing flash games as a kid. I absolutely loved how objects scale would have to be shrunk in order to make others grow into the right place. Really smart!

I do think there are a lot of things that hurt the overall experience though..

The art at times makes it hard to differentiate which items can be sized or not. At the start that’s really cool but after realizing I have like 75 of these items to resize it then becomes… very frustrating. It runs into a problem a lot of point and click games have. It would probably have been good to add a key to highlight all the items that are not scaled properly instead of just showing what is scaled properly.

This becomes even more annoying with the fact that you have to let go of the scaling to check if it’s right EVERY TIME. It would be really awesome if when you got close to the correct scale the item highlighted instead of when letting go. OR an ever cooler concept would be having a photograph reference of the room that the player can pull up (maybe it’s in black and white for added challenge) that will make it so the player has some foundation to work off of.

Other than that, great work!

Thank you so much for playing and the in-depth feedback. These are definitely some points to think about. I also felt that the highlighting should be showing objects that are still at the wrong scale but it's basically a decision about balancing difficulty. We worried it was too easy. I think the level got quite a lot of objects in the end so it should justify making it a bit easier. We've also thought of putting a reference/hints into the room to show the player how it's supposed to look like and I think you are right, it might be good to have it in for real. We might get to a little bit of a post jam version where we wanted to complete some of the art to be shaded but can definitely reevaluate all these points impacting difficulty and eventually frustration. Thank you so much for playing! I am looking forward to playing yours. (I had to be at a convention pretty much right after the game jam deadline but tonight or tomorrow I can finally play submitted games!)
