Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

I'm so glad you liked the game. Thanks for the kind words.

When you say you couldn't move the screen, do you mean the WASD controls for the camera stopped working?

Again, I'm super glad you liked it.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. That song was definitely a find.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the events. There's a lot of them, though not as many as I'd like. And yeah, that blackhole can be brutal.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for all the feedback.

I'm not sure about the audio issue, but the soft locking was something I definitely realized could happen. Unfortunately, it came a little to late in the jam and I couldn't account for it well. I tried a couple hacky fixes, but with the blackhole nothing is for sure.

But again thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for the game play, that's really cool.  I'm glad you liked the music, we tried to go for something Law and Order-esque.

Thank you, and thanks for the feedback.

And yes, I definitely agree the tutorial is far less than ideal. If I had to do it again, I would try to push a little closer to the deadline and make a better tutorial. But I'm glad you managed to make it through it. Thanks again.

I'm really glad you liked it. Thanks so much.

I really enjoyed your game and its art style.

Here's my game: https://functional.itch.io/pack-the-juror

I hope you enjoy. Be warned there is  a bit of reading in the tutorial.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.  I definitely agree the tutorial could use some work,  it is a very inelegant solution. I'm happy you managed to trudge your way through it and find the game underneath. Thanks again for your feedback.

Oh I see what you mean by its really small. That's very strange. It only seems to happen sometimes and only on certain screen resolutions; it doesn't happen on my desktop but it happens on my laptop. Sorry about that, I'll try to figure out why that's happening.

Very simple idea very nicely executed.  I enjoyed it more then I expected to.

Really liked the art and the idea.  Controls felt a little off, but besides that great game.

Really loved the art style of the game. It was very fun.

Hope you enjoy mine.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad you made it through the tutorial. I know it can be quite a lot. Thanks again for the feedback.

I really liked the art and music, though I had some trouble progressing with the wall jump. Overall, great game.

Really great atmosphere.

Really like the art style.

Really liked the game. It was fun and the levels were nicely designed.

Here's mine: https://functional.itch.io/pack-the-juror

I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks for checking it out.

This is fantastic, thank you.

Beat'em up where you can only look once at each level.

This is a really long thread, but if you have time.

https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461707

My game is just a simple beat'em up where you only get one look at each level.

Here it is: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461707

Thanks for the post. I'm glad you liked the idea. And thanks for the feedback. I hadn't heard of Sea Quest Heroes, but it's a very interesting implementation. Something to consider.

Thanks again.

I found the best strategy is to charge and hit them as soon as they sound they detect you.

Thanks for playing though. I think the difficulty curve as of now is steep. But, it is a jam. Again, thanks for playing.

We're sitting at 3 ratings right now.  Mine is a beat'em up where you only get one look at each level.

Here's the game: https://functional.itch.io/mr-punch-only-one-look

Hopefully you enjoy it.

To run it unzip the file and run the setup program.

Thanks

That's strange. I'm assuming you're running on Windows. Did you unzip the installation file and run the setup program? And did it give and errors or anything?

Thanks

Really nicely done. The feel of the hammer is fantastic. Quite fun.
