I think the porblem is that the engine we used is itself still in early access with lots of improvements hopefully comming in the future. While it might be possible to remove some faces on models i dont think it will make any noticable difference performancewise. However we will definetly look into it- Fyreman
Really nice game! Had a ton of fun playing it, here are my notes:
-items are nice, keep that they have no description before buying
-make health cheaper (can't buy anything else when being hit)
-game softlocked after mothership failed to kill last drone in fight against junkjard golems
-player-character too big
-player artstile doesn't fit the lowpoly rest of the game
-katana animation/weapon holding -player movement animation is always walking forwards, even when he is walking backwards
-remove the dirty vaseline on screen (bloom-texture)
-make it more obvious when hp lost -> red screen pulse?
-red barrels must equal explosion -> make current barrels blue or smth and add new red barrels
-higher default movement speed?
-jumping is pretty useless right now (you can jump over tank shots)
-make it a way to dodge vertically?
-levels with multiple elevations?
-dashing into enemies never damages the player
-make that random?
-close doge = hp- reward?
-tanks do flick on player sometimes (when noticing you)
-gas thingy glitches in red colour at his "wheels"
-gas thingy is not fun to play against imo
-gas hitbox too big, too much hp
-make it a burst fire tank?
-general quicker enemies with less hp and more of them?
-camera a bit further back + let the cursor move the camera further
-enemies need to remember last know location and search the player there, not home in on hime with wallhack
-they sometimes notice you randomly
-add grenades? (to not use a weapon slot!, random enemy drop, only from special enemy?)
-make automatic weapons have a longer default range
-what is the counter in the top used for?? -add a reward for a high combo (damage boost, hp, more scrap)?
-junkjard golem: give laser movement delay so you have a chance to hit him while he is firing it -flamethrower: needs longer range
-what is up with all the BIOS-esque blue in the game? maybe do a bit more with that theme
