After too much time, I came to bring the complete map of the first floor of this city

I apologize for the delay, if anyone is waiting, hahahah

(to view in the correct size, right click and open in another tab)

some highlights

the last few years have been very busy with everything that has happened in the world and I have many classes to teach at the moment, so I haven't had time to finish this project, but I really like the program and I want to finish it, I've even started working on the floors of buildings, little by little

And, as the last update here, I'm studying a way to animate the maps, nothing big for now. but if I can do what I want, maybe there's a quick way to create animated maps

You will have to download the images that you want to use (if you are going to use these here, I advise you to save this page whit "Ctrl + S"  and get the images in the folder where you saved)

On the right, on the RPG Map Editor screen you will have the option "Icon or Custom Image" (shortcut key = i ) after chose this option, click on the map and an interactive window will appear on the right side of the program, there you will go to down to "import custom image" and look for the image you want to use.

Hope this helps

Man! I agree with you, I really have to do something like this to make it easier to download these images, tnx

I just posted. Didn't realize I hadn't made it available, thank you very much

Greetings!

I am slowly returning to post some images. The year was complicated and I was without a computer to work for a long time, and now I think things will flow.
here are some variants of the images already posted, things I used and had not yet posted. If all goes well I intend to post some more things over time. Thanks!

Vehicle Variations:

Electronics

Home appliances

Sinks

Animal Food
Dog
Cat

Shelfs & Cabinets

Trash

Stuff

Sorry to be gone for so long and not have posted more resources or even finished the map, I was without a computer. But now I have one more or less, and I should finish the map soon and post some more drawings, I already have some ideas for an upcoming project, and maybe some images for creatures and characters.

So, here are some highlights of what I updated on the sample map, still using only the posted resources:

Stores 1 - Bookstore / Unfinished / Laundry / Pharmacy:

Stores 2 - Electronics / Generic (it will probably be a hardware store):

(the map represents a city in the 90s, so CRT monitors)

Stores 3 - Department store:

Police Department (loosely based in the Resident Evil map):

I am very grateful!

And no problem with french, i speak portuguese and my english is terrible !!!

Save as the image using the right mouse button

Save the map, create a new or open another map, the library will refresh. when you open the original map will be there only the ones still in use. sometimes this bug a little and one or two don't go go away, either because you haven't deleted all instances of it or the editor thinks it hasn't been deleted, close the map e open again and it probably will resolve the problem.

thank you, mate!

Feel free to use whatever you want! and post it here for us to see after it's done!

Greetings!
I work as a designer, so I draw the pixelarts from scratch
I usually use Adobe Fireworks, because I like how it works with layers and how the program's eraser works
(sorry for the bad english)

I came across the bug where the eraser does not erase certain icons because they are too small.

To maintain consistency with the size of the grid I use the chairs and some smaller objects, thinking that each square is 5 feet or 1.5 m. Many of my icons, like boxes, shelves, etc. are small for that reason. I intend to do a blueprint version of this map and I came across this bug when I tried to delete the objects inside the restaurant. Oh, and a suggestion that I can make, it would be very interesting that we could choose what the eraser erases, for example, having a checkbox to say that it can only erase icons, dirt, walls. Because it is very complicated to delete many details and still keep the structure of a map intact, it is possible, but it does work when you have a very complex map.

an interesting suggestion, if possible, would be the possibility to change the design of the NPCs, allowing the insertion of external files

I am producing a map for a RPG campaign in the style of Resident Evil, and I would like to post some sprites that I created as a thank you to the team that created the program and to whoever else wants to use it! I'm an illustrator, and I'm a little out of work during this quarantine and creating content for the RPG Map Editor has been a good pastime to distract the mind. (sorry for bad english, not my first language)
