I am producing a map for a RPG campaign in the style of Resident Evil, and I would like to post some sprites that I created as a thank you to the team that created the program and to whoever else wants to use it! I'm an illustrator, and I'm a little out of work during this quarantine and creating content for the RPG Map Editor has been a good pastime to distract the mind. (sorry for bad english, not my first language)

How do I used these (and other) sprites with the RPG Map Maker II program?

You will have to download the images that you want to use (if you are going to use these here, I advise you to save this page whit "Ctrl + S"  and get the images in the folder where you saved)

On the right, on the RPG Map Editor screen you will have the option "Icon or Custom Image" (shortcut key = i ) after chose this option, click on the map and an interactive window will appear on the right side of the program, there you will go to down to "import custom image" and look for the image you want to use.

Hope this helps

Hello friend, I would like to know what application or how you do to make the different pixel arts, thank you

Greetings!
I work as a designer, so I draw the pixelarts from scratch
I usually use Adobe Fireworks, because I like how it works with layers and how the program's eraser works
(sorry for the bad english)

Sorry to be gone for so long and not have posted more resources or even finished the map, I was without a computer. But now I have one more or less, and I should finish the map soon and post some more drawings, I already have some ideas for an upcoming project, and maybe some images for creatures and characters.

So, here are some highlights of what I updated on the sample map, still using only the posted resources:

Stores 1 - Bookstore / Unfinished / Laundry / Pharmacy:

Stores 2 - Electronics / Generic (it will probably be a hardware store):

(the map represents a city in the 90s, so CRT monitors)

Stores 3 - Department store:

Police Department (loosely based in the Resident Evil map):

Really great layout for horror maps!

Thank you, so much for posting these, I have been using them for my superhero campaign. One question though, I'm still new to using this program, What did you use to create the metal desks? Did you not post the sprite or is it something already in the program?

I just posted. Didn't realize I hadn't made it available, thank you very much

Greetings!

I am slowly returning to post some images. The year was complicated and I was without a computer to work for a long time, and now I think things will flow.
here are some variants of the images already posted, things I used and had not yet posted. If all goes well I intend to post some more things over time. Thanks!

thank you so much!

Wish you'd stick these in an archive for easier download. Though I eventually realized I can just save the page to download all the assets at once.

After too much time, I came to bring the complete map of the first floor of this city

I apologize for the delay, if anyone is waiting, hahahah

(to view in the correct size, right click and open in another tab)

some highlights

the last few years have been very busy with everything that has happened in the world and I have many classes to teach at the moment, so I haven't had time to finish this project, but I really like the program and I want to finish it, I've even started working on the floors of buildings, little by little

And, as the last update here, I'm studying a way to animate the maps, nothing big for now. but if I can do what I want, maybe there's a quick way to create animated maps

What an amazing map, congratulations, it was perfect

That is incredible! Great job man!

Hi everyone, hopefully this isn't a bad thing but I'm posting this under all the asset posts on here.

I downloaded everything and organised what I could into folders and named as much as possible, then I put it into this github repo. There's also a link to download all of them at once if you're interested in getting them all organised by creator and asset pack name. Not taking credit for a single asset, it was made by the talented, hardworking creators but this is just for ease of download and access.

Main Repo: https://github.com/SpacemannFinn/TTRPG-editor-II-Assets
I just wanna download: https://github.com/SpacemannFinn/TTRPG-editor-II-Assets/releases/tag/0.1

how do you load mutliple custom images at once???
