You can also just start the level like that sometimes.

Beat it after a few runs.  Excellent implementation of the one-button mechanic and overall just a fun game.  Here's my attempt at a speedrun:

That one is a bit unintuitive but I guess it also makes sense because it alters the way you fall.

For sure.  I hope you've been doing well Johan.

Loved it!  It's so awesome to accidentally come across a game by an Allegro legend.

Edit: 5:49 with 8/8 is the best I could do for now

There are some people putting ideas in this thread (including me): https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/topic/2320121/dump-you-unused-ideas-for-others

My first idea was going to use the real-life symbiotic relationship between wolves and ravens.  I think it's fascinating how they help each other hunt.

In the game, you could switch between a wolf and a raven.  The raven could fly and scout and find prey.  The wolf would then follow the raven to make its kill, if you're good enough in the fight.  The target could still escape or wound you if it fights back, depending on what it is.  The wolf and the raven have limited hunger and stamina so you have to be careful.

 You're not alone
