Fantastic game  - I would not have thought this was made in a jam timeframe. Love the music a lot - it really adds to the aesthetic, and the visuals were great. I even found myself invested in the story, and loved the little, funny quirks in the dialogue. Great job!

Great game - really love how the rolling feels and it a cool little world you've built.  Definitely a fan and I look forward to seeing what you do next with this!

This was awesome - a great, wholesome game that is simple in its execution but powerful in it's message. Nicely done all

No problem at all, and I totally get it! as a designer, I know seeing those unfiltered reactions can be invaluable so I fully understand! I loved the game :D You did a great job and should be pleased with it - I look forward to seeing more from you :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to play it and comment - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hope that when I get more comfortable completing game jams i'll be able to stretch myself to more unique ideas :)

Sure thing - i've added you to the list too :) Hope to see you there!

Awesome, and thanks for checking out the first one. I'll put you on the list for the Thursday stream then :) Catch you there!

Sure thing PetarJebivetar, i'll put yours in the list too! I'll see you there tomorrow :)

Howdy MissingWilliam,

Absolutely, i'll put it first on my list. I have VOD enabled so if you miss the stream it'll still be available on my twitch page for at least 14 days afterwards :)

Hi all,

Just a heads up that 5:30-7:30pm BST (ish, may go on later) this evening i'll be reviewing Mini Jam 91 submissions live on stream. In the absence of any requests I will just work through a list of random games, though if anyone would like their game played/reviewed directly be sure to stop by and drop your link in the chat once we're live.

I'll also be running a similar session on Thursday too if needed. Hope to see you there!

What a great game - definitely scared me a few times. Excellent work

Ooooh good luck, you got this!

I set mine to 1024 x 768 as most of my designs fit pretty well into that, it may be different for yours though

I did mine as a WebGL to make it easier for people to play :)

Hi all! Just wanna wish everyone good luck, and for anyone struggling YOU CAN DO IT! This is my first  successful Jam as a designer making a game without code, and the relief is real. I learned a lot from my previous attempts though but i'm glad to have finally managed it this time. If you 're worried that you're not good enough, that you don't know what you're doing, that it isn't worth it, just stop and breathe :) These are all lessons you're learning, and one lesson you learn today could be the thing that speeds you up during your next attempt and makes it possible.

If the game you make isn't exactly what you hoped for, still be proud. Its yours - show it off with pride! And if you don't manage it this time then don't worry, learn your lessons and go even stronger into the next one. In either case there's still a lot to be proud of!

I stream myself playing and discussing game jam games and will be doing the same for Mini Jam 91. At the very least i'll spend some time on Thursday evening (6-8pm BST) doing this, though I may also run an earlier stream in the week and spend some of my saturday stream (12:30-4:30pm BST) doing it too. I take submissions, so if you're interested in having me discuss/play your game live on stream please stop by on Twitch when i'm active - www.twitch.tv/gamedevdeputy .

Best of luck everyone :)

David

Also I just took this from the Mini jam 91 page describing the limitation: "The limitation is a special condition that your game    must   follow, but is open to interpretation. If you are unsure if your idea doesn't fit the limitation  just remember that everyone will interpret  it differently."

In short, it sounds like you really should include the fish mechanic. Like MissingWilliam though i'm not an official admin so this isn't an official response. Good luck!
