We appreciate the kind words. We were planning on adding an in-game tutorial to the game, but kinda ran out of time. Major whoops on our part. In our blind rush to get the main gameplay loop hooked up before the deadline, we may have incurred a smidge of tech debt. We're trying to push out a patch to fix the crashing issues, but that probably won't be available for a while. Anyways, I tried my best to make a quick write up of the game rules on the game page. Hopefully that helps! The game may barely work for more than 30 seconds, but at least we won the vibe check.

I really loved this visual novel. The presentation was so well done. My only complaint is that the internal monologue and text messages shouldn't auto progress and instead wait for player input before progressing.

I really liked the gameplay concept and the art direction this game took. I found the font used in the game a bit hard to read. Some of the puzzles felt a bit too obtuse to figure out, but also I'm a bit slow so that could just be me.

The game is a bit unpolished, which is understandable for the constraints of this jam. I had a lot of issues with getting stuck on level geometry, which made it a herculean task to walk through any door. The controls also felt very slow and awkward, which makes the action segments very confusing to get through. On my screen, the dialogue windows were also microscopic. I can see this game becoming something interesting if you guys put in more time to polish it. And also every single spider gave me a heart attack, so good job there.

i like the part where i can fart. thank you. nice. music loop is a little short.

Grey factory zone was a little intense for me. My heart gave out and I needed immediate medical attention so I wasn't able to finish the game.

This is pretty ok for something you made in one day. It was just a bit difficult to know if there was any strategy behind finding ores/fuel. The game felt like mindless digging for me, but I can see it becoming something interesting if you put more time into it.

Okay, not gonna lie, but I thought this game had something to do with the bell-tower type of carillon and was briefly confused about the lack of bell-on-bell action. But I still had a really great time with this game! The sound design is very crisp, and I found myself a bit sad when I ran out of levels to play. My only complaint is that it took a while to figure out that I could only control the puck horizontally.

This is genuinely a really fun game. It's really satisfying to try to clear out a level in as few clicks as possible. Good job, Mr. BirdCat.
