no problem

Sure, scroll down here and open up the little menu that says "Assets" and you should find an appropriate download for your operating system.

are you using LÖVE 11.0? the app has not been updated to work with any newer version, not even other 11.x versions

When I clicked the button for section 4-3, instead of telling me whether I had the condition it just said "New Text". Other than that, great. My Kojima Name is "OldScared Programmer".

Neat concept. I have some small complaints though.

It was annoying after the first round when it turned out all my work was for nothing as I didn't know I'd lose so many points for stuff being outside the lines when it should be inside and vice-versa. Also kinda annoying that it doesn't offer to save or screenshot or anything and just deletes your island when you click again on anything after it's done.

I admit that the first complaint is sort of my own fault for skipping the rules, but I think the reason I skipped the rules is because it was a lot of text all at once. I like that the cards each tell you how they work, that's much better than a big wall of text up front that you have no idea how to parse yet because you don't actually know anything about how the game works. I think it would work much better if you didn't show the individual tile's info at the start and just showed the other info, like the explanation of what "near" means. And also, during the border-drawing mode, show the info about which features/tiles should be inside, and which should be outside the lines.

Also, here's my second try at an island.

interesting concept. are the effects procedurally generated or just a huge list? I got to the point where there's like five enemies at a time, but the game crashed. I put the crash report below.

Error: room.lua:62: attempt to index a nil value

Nice game! It's interesting to find that someone else had a similar idea to mine, though yours is much more a full game at this point. Also I found a bug where pieces sometimes disappear when you move them. Makes cheating possible, but a lot of times it was the king so I just had to start over, heh.

IDK if anyone has suggested this before, but I think that along with the other platform logos (the Windows logo, the Apple logo, the Tux logo, and the Android logo) there should be one representing web-playable. I suggest the HTML 5 logo. This doesn't just apply too this page but should really be reflected anywhere the platform logos are shown.

I was unable to play the game on Linux. After choosing a resolution it simply showed nothing in the window.

I couldn't find a Linux binary in the download, just an exe (which I presumed was for Windows, but didn't check).

I'm having the same problem. Would it be alright if I poked around and tried to get it running on the latest LÖVE version?

Glad to hear it. I'll add a note to the game's description page.

To be clear, when you say "nothing happens" you mean like no window shows up or anything?

Did you try using the LÖVE version

I'm sorry to hear that. Can you tell me what platform you're on? The exe is for Windows 64-bit so unfortunately it won't work on a 32-bit OS. For now you can go to http://love2d.org/ and download LÖVE and use that to run the ".love" file for this game (also available on the download page).

I'm glad you appreciate it! You know, it's funny you should mention the Royal Game of Ur, as I have another game which is very much inspired by that game, but I've only implemented it in Tabletop Simulator. Perhaps I should host the files on itch

I had planned to add a feature to show where a piece can move when you're holding it, but the way I coded the movement ended up not being particularly conducive to that. I didn't end up having enough time to work it out.

I am not sure how to rate this. You took two things that are just like, annoying or bad design and made them the focus. Those things being bad camera angles, and having a limited ammo for something that you should just be able to do as much as you want. The having to grab your boot again works alright, and the camera angle thing is an interesting concept but not very fun in practice.

I can't seem to filter the submissions by Linux support any more. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to. In the "Filter" box there's Windows, Mac, and even Android but not Linux. I assume this was introduced as part of this update, and is simply a bug or oversight.

Edit: For anyone wanting to rate Linux games having this problem, a work-around is to use the randomizer, which _does_ have a Linux filter, and as a bonus, can use multiple filters at once. Actually it'd be nice to have that functionality on the main list, too.

Interesting having the game exist entirely in Java UI buttons.

I was unable to rate this game. I downloaded the Linux version but when running it, it simply aborted.

Hey your game is marked as Linux but I only found Windows executables in the download.

Any chance for a Linux version?

Thank you for playing my game on your channel. I am honored, even tho I can plainly see you're trying to play them all. By my estimation, it'll take 52 videos, so I better let you get to it. But if you want to play a better version of Snaek, for instance, with gameplay, I'll be happy to message you when it's out.

Unfortunately, the implementation of the bots' movement means that if you have a line of them, sometimes they get separated randomly, or even end up overlapping! Fixing this bug and adding more levels would make this pretty neat. Liked the music, too.

Good puzzle game, good concept. Controls need work, tho.

Wow, great puzzle game, and very challenging puzzles. I can't even beat map 10 right now. Gotta play and rate more games. Eighteen to go!

Pretty good, but boring. Couldn't even make it to the boss. I like the "countdown to boss" counter in the top, but with only two (very similar) enemy types, and no changes in patterns or waves, it's way too long. Basically, it needs more stuff, and less waiting.
EDIT: I hope there's not some really cool mechanic that you can only do while playing two-player. I really like those kinds of thing, but there's no indication that this is a multiplayer-only game, and several indications that it isn't. Therefore, it should either be fun single-player, or indicate that it is multiplayer-only.

The viewport area is too small for the game; it's cut off. You can fix it in the game's dashboard page near the bottom under "Viewport dimensions."

This game really gives a sense of futility. I wonder there is a win condition? Maybe I'm just not very good at it.
