I've found that some of my favorite games this jam have been the most relaxing. This one is right up there, especially after I worked out what was probably the "optimal" playstyle (i.e. the one that got me to the end). Drop some smooth jazz or some chill flutes on to this, some extra maps, and I would unironically play this to chill out.
I always try to also give input for how to make it better if the dev is interested in doing so. Some people have indicated they didn't like how slow it was. Obviously that was a selling point for me, but I do think that's the strength of developing it more; both preferences can be tended to. Outside of that, it would have been nice if the rubble piles either were mine-able or were a different color from the rocks, so I didn't think they were mine-able.
This game made me happy and there's a lot of games in this jam that can't say that. Well done!
This game is heccin good. I rate 5/5. Very good animations, the only one building at a time is pretty clever and brings very unexpected difficulties. Overall, just very very good.
I was unable to rate this game. I downloaded the Linux version but when running it, it simply aborted.
I downloaded the Mac version and only got this. The UI was also incredibly small. If this is made with Unity, try going to your canvas's settings, in your canvas scaler component, change UI scale mode to 'scale with screen size'. Not leaving a rating since this seems to be a build issue. Hope you had fun during the jam!
this black screen is a post processing stack issue, can't really test it on mac, I'll probably disable it so it can be played on mac and webgl
This game is a bit tedious, one has to wait for the farm to produce enough food,
then build a sawmill and wait for the wood gatherer to get enough wood,
then the same thing for the quarry and then finally making sculptors to make
these toruses. I like the look of the game and the elements and how they're
selected and placed, but all the waiting makes it feel more like one of those low
friction devices that you set and then watch as they run out.
