Cool idea, this could be a pretty neat introduction to the adventure game genre. Took me about half an hour, and I ran into a couple bugs: LOOKing while falling through the fan breaks the animation sequence, preventing the screen from scrolling and leaving you blind. Also, I managed to free the bird twice one time. Maybe leave that first one in? Someone who had the screens memorized could use it for a neat timesave.

An opportunity popped up, and I decided to put my game to the side for a couple days. It will not be finished within the jam time limit, but I'll still try to make something out of it even if it is not eligible for the leaderboard.

I am interested in making a platformer in a strange and constrained language, such as TI-Basic or Minecraft (Java Edition) datapack. These would require more than just a windows computer to play. Would a submission like that be acceptable?

Thank you!
