Hi, thanks for visiting!
I would like to talk about our new game Rush Bomb, it 's a text-based game, but not the kind you would expect for... You play as an amazing hacker who tries to desperately save his country from getting bombed, so expect for some super complex hacking . Can you save your country?
The game is made using C++ only and it's still under heavy development, so there'll be weekly devlogs; The first one is already out!

Thanks for your time! :)
So I decided to benefit the vacation I got from school due to the Coronavirus to develop a game.
The game will be a half-3D (like doom) adventure game in which you can explore the world around you and proceed in the story.
The game is developed in my custom game engine which I write in C++ and OpenGL.

Thanks for your time and stay healthy!
Just a "little" previews of the game, it's still in early stages:
Hey @bloodpirat!
I tried your game for about 5 levels (I'll try again later, don't worry ;) ) and it's really hard... :)
The art style is really polished and the blood particles were made excellent, the sound effects are good too.
The only thing you may want to change is the controls, the controls are fine except jumping and running the same time, the character doesn't jump half the time...
Overall, you have done a really good job!
Have a nice day! :D
Hey, it's me again! :)
So I've played all of your game (including all the options) and it was tons of fun, I really like the part of the deal with the devil kind of thing (I didn't find any changes that saying yes to her does but I guess it's under development).
Although I had fun playing your (super hard) game I did had some issues playing this game so this is what I think you should focus on improving before continuing with the storyline:
- Collisions!! this is your main problem now because I often fell to my death because of a physics problem. Is there any chance that you are using a cube-shaped collision shape for the player? if so I recommend using a capsule-shaped collision shape.
- The controls feel slow and unresponsive, work on that
- The camera thing (you already know that).
- Add a shadow to the player, I agree with Pick A Pie on that.
- Consider adding some sort of checkpoints in your game, I would be super annoyed going back to the beginning if I am, for example, in level 10.
- When the devil guy talks to you, doing the dialog is pretty weird, make the lines change by time, not movement if you want.
Other than those issues you have a really good game, I really like the story and the concept!
Have (again) a good day!
So I don't want to take too much from your time so I'll do this quick
This is my first public game made in my own game engine.
The game in one (or two) sentence:
This game is the text-based demake version (the opposite of remake ) of the game that my friend and I made for the Ludum Dare 43 game jam. You play as a robot that has to go through a number of experiments without dying , the robot has limited fuel/energy quantity so everything you do cost you energy/hp.

Thanks!
Hey, Halloween Astronaut, nice to meet you!
I know it's really annoying but the game is made in C++ and the code itself depends on the Windows OS in many ways. But if it is possible to upload it anyways I would love to do it, but to be honest I have no idea how to do it (...sorry!).
I hope you can play it anyways... nonetheless thanks for your comment!
Hi!
I would love some feedback on the text-based game I made, this would be very helpful to me in future projects, this is the first game I made with my own game engine.

Hey Misaki, nice to meet you!
So I've played your game and the first thing I gotta say is that I love the art style, I liked the music too.
Ok, I'm not that a good gamer so it could be just me but I found the game really hard, the concept is good and add interest to the game. One thing you might want to look in is the camera angle, the angle is unique to a 3/2D platformer game and I liked it, but you may want to consider moving the camera to a more vertical-to-the-level angle because with the current angle it's kind of hard to judge depth.
I'll try playing your game again later because I didn't manage to make it that far :P.
Other than that, keep it up because the game has of potential, as I said the concept is good.
Have a good day!
Hello,
"Electrocuted the demake edition" is the text-based version of the game my friend and I had made for the Ludum Dare 43 game jam, "Electrocuted".
This version of the game has been developed in the text-based game engine I wrote in C++.
Feel free to check it out, you can also let me know what you think about it in the comment section.

Thanks for your time! :D
Hello!
So, almost one year ago me and my friend participated in the Ludum Dare 43 game jam, we made the game "Electrocuted". Recently, I finished working on my text-based game engine I wrote in C++ and I thought it would be cool to make a demake (the opposite of remake) to Electrocuted inside my game engine.
Have fun being tested if you can make it to the end alive ! :D

Hello!
Me and my friend participated in the Ludum Dare 43 game jam, we made a game called "Electrocuted", so recently I made a text-based game engine in pure C++ and I thought it would be cool to remake Electrocuted inside my game engine, be sure to let me know your thought about the game in the comment section.
You can check it out here here
Have fun! :D
