No, but a lot of the new content is rewrites/new early game stuff. That & as with most updates in renpy games like this, every once in awhile you might get an error on old saves for new content. Either way, most of us will probably end up starting a new game. But your saves will all be available. Probably. They have been for previous updates, not sure why they'd stop now.

Bit confused by what you mean, Currently Logan is the "alpha" werewolf, but i saved him After bernard I think. But I did save both of them & couldn't get the plot to progress further than that after they were both back in town. The guide i was following implied rescuing caleb was necessary to finish both the werewolf plotline, and get the bareshade upgrades.
But i also couldn't find any way to trigger his first scene without getting bernard to three hearts. I think this was all before the new werewolf events were added? Not sure.
I think your sexual experience needs to high, & you need to do the quests the brother bartender gives, so the madame can get her eyes on you first. Not sure of Exact requirements but after that I got sent to the madame to be "examined" by her when asking about a job.
Depending on stats she may reject you for being "too much" or "not enough. Not certain what exactly triggers each reaction. Lewd fame seemingly has nothing to do with it, as i got in with none.
Honestly with how repressed the dude is, struggling with his own sexuality kinda makes sense. Especially since he's one of only four npcs to have an actual depicted/former romantic relationship besides you. Weirdly enough, all of those are straight. Bit strange with how much more focus this has on m/m relationships.
I see. In that case I guess there's not really anything I can do besides restart the entire game and see if that works. I already went back & romanced bernard awhile back to get the bareshade upgrades as they were seemingly necessary to access a lot of the new content in some of the recent updates.
Maybe I'll rescue logan this time since I've always gone after bernard instead, if i do restart the game that is. But as far as i can tell, the werewolf plotline has no way to properly continue without rescuing Caleb first. Could be wrong on that i guess.
Yes, he has been to bareshade, & I talked to both logan and bernard about setting up the road. The game is currently acting like the road was built whenever he comes to the fair (woman suggested kids playing) but the road has never been built.
If i had to take a wild guess, maybe the game is built so you're not supposed to be able to invite him to bareshade until the town has been upgraded. Pretty sure i still hadn't romanced bernard when ste first came to town. So maybe the game wasnt sure what to do about that and never triggered it.
That's a good idea. Although i think the like system works fine for that already, no? But yeah that would be neat. As for the quest, i have 3 hearts with bernie, the town is fully upgraded, i've been to the fair multiple times, & caleb is here. I think i've seen most if not all of his events too.
Ste has no option to invite to the fair, but logan does. I don't have any hearts with logan & just did the new werewolves vs swamp monsters quest. Maybe inviting logan to the fair will trigger ste's path somehow? Honestly not sure. Very weird situation overall. Okay: weirdly enough, ste is here with his kids? I don't remember ever inviting him...
I think i was following the fan guide. As far as I'm aware i've done everything to set it up, but can't progress new road. Have 1 heart with ste, talked to everyone about setting up the road, but it just never starts being built.
Also I know, but like i said i've been playing since around version 0.12 or 0.14 before it had any art & back then I hadn't realized it was going to be mostly men. But i got pretty invested in the world & characters.
Nearly every other scene provides the ability to avoid sex/romance, so it feels a little weird that it seems like i Have to romance bernie to continue both the werewolf & main plot. Unless i missed something somehow.
Don't you still have to find bernard's lost friend in order to progress? I guess i wouldn't really know. I knew abt the logan vs bernie path, but originally i didn't romance Either of them until it seemed like i Had to. (hint system said get 3 hearts with bernie to progress werewolf plot & find the missing dude) Been awhile since i did the plot. Main problem is I'm just not into men & there's very limited options for gay women in this game. At least to unlock the village upgrades. Which are necessary for a lot of the new content it seems.
As I said, I get it's primary content is gay/bara men but it still offers the ability to play as a lesbian or bi or straight woman too. Albeit very limited options if you do try to play as a lesbian. As for Ste, I'm not sure what the problem is? I've never been able to progress past him going to the village with his kids. He discusses & sets up plans to build a path to his house, in game hint system just says to "sleep till morning" but nothing happens.
I visit the location you mentioned & nothing ever happens there either. Interestingly, another glitch i encounter is i still sometimes get the first orc throwing out "guests" whenever i sleep till morning. He's not been in the house for a Long time. I'm honestly tempted to start another new playthrough to see if i messed smthn up, but this is a very long game with alot of content in it. So that would be. Somewhat Annoying to do.
I know this game's primarily gay men/bara content, but any chance you're ever gonna add a way to progress the werewolf plotline Without romancing bernard? been playing this game since before it even had art & a little too interested in it's story to back out now. Also I can't seem to advance the minotaur's plotline at all. Road to his house never gets built.
Please consider changing the willpower recovery back to 40 per use. It was hard enough to see any of the pop in scenes before, but the latest update made it damn near impossible. Or lower the energy requirements. Or make it easier to recover energy. Or lower the willpower damage from enemies. Great game in every other aspect but this part of the combat is extremely frustrating.
