No worries, I also tend to skip passages sometimes oops

And yes, made in Twine, Sugarcube specifically. I already had some knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript so I think it made it easier to understand it. The Sugarcube documentation is very well explained so that's the only thing I used tbh...
Hmm, I'm pretty sure there are tutorial playlists on Youtube that explain step by step how to make a game on Twine so that could be a good place to start if the documentation is too intimidating to start with !
Honestly, I'd be happy to help you with what you need for the basics; it'd be easier to explain on my Tumblr though so feel free to ask me over there, the link to the development blog is in the description above :^)

thank you !! it's nothing fancy but I'm glad you liked it heh :^)

Yeah there's a right order for the elements to be in, it's written in the grimoire when you find it. Once you're doing the ritual, you need to click on the elements : the text in the next passage should be different depending if you succeeded in the ritual or not ^^

Thank you ! It means a lot <33

!! Thank you so much <33 I'm so glad you liked my silly little game :^)

Ahh thank you so much <3 I'm so happy you enjoyed it, I'll do my best for the rest of the story :^)
And thanks for leaving a comment, means a lot !!

Ooh last chapter was good, love how chill Alex is compared to how freaked out everyone else has been to MC returning haha

I'm so curious as to how the rest of the story is going to play out aaah thanks for coming back to work on this, I hope you're not too stressed out and good luck with the rest <3

I honestly think about this game every day since the demo came out, I'm so excited, you guys have done a great job :^)

One of my favourite interactive fiction <3 The ROs are so easy to like, the story is well crafted, the family drama and angst is so compelling and the romance is honestly so cute - the dynamics between Irus and shy!MC have me in a chokehold !!!

I love how you have the option to be resentful, petty and honestly even kind of "weak" at times but it's never portrayed as a bad thing, just as an MC who will rely on others and not be shamed for it - which is not something I see often in IF. I really appreciate how we're not always forced to forgive or even put up with some people (looking at you Salyra) and we're not even forced to believe in the divines. It's such a breath of fresh air to have so much agency in what our MC can choose as their morals and beliefs without constantly being guilt tripped for our choices. And no doubt that takes extra work for the author but she does a wonderful job and it's really inspiring ~

Can't wait for the rest of this story :^)

Ooh thank you so much for adding my game to the list and on the Choice of Games forum, it helped a lot :^)

Aww thank you so much, that means a lot <3 As for who the child is, you'll have to investigate and find out in the story hehe :^)

Could be anyone, so all the ROs and the MC can be suspicious of each other but it could also be someone else entirely - maybe whoever it is doesn't even know it's them...

As for the person you play in the prologue, I realize you might not even learn their name depending on your choices but if you get caught by the cult, the high priestess will call Sam by their name though who knows when we'll hear from Sam again in the story ~

Thanks for reading and leaving a comment !
