BMO is a FACKING fire musician, yes!  Though the main loop seemed a bit too major for what I believe was meant to be a gloomy aesthetic?

I iterated over a placeholder and ideally, we could polish the screens to fit The End is Nigh (intended to mimic that sort of dark vibe), like so:

Yes, I apologize for that.  Communication wasn't the best and we weren't given ample time to plot a good internal doc for the puzzles.  However, I believe the grid buttons are meant to be a type of matrix (prog never sent me the files to test), like so:

Glad you enjoyed the game!  Funnily enough,  we had a bit more characterization and plot to incorporate, too ^^

It was cool opening up to this comment!  Very flattering but a bit scary to think we did that well, heh ^.^;;

Thanks!   I'm really glad Orez brought the notetaking and "words as key-bits" mechanics to the table.

The visuals left on the cutting board is an engaging sci-fi element skin, since the longer-term aesthetic was the Player was injected into a simulated reality - I wanted to incorporate a cool little card flip into projected LED datapad display, too.

I'm definitely wanting to talk to the guys about polishing up more, at least!

Hey, I'm happy you appreciated those aspects!  All my years of complaining about the recent ABSENCE of  (Good!), actual survival horror puzzles finally paid off, haha.  (For real: I made Orez and everyone sit on Discord and watch classic REmake puzzles, plus, the idea to implement interactive 3D objects was inspired by that and Tormented Souls!)

The stars lined up further - Orez happened to have bought a little scanner before the jam, showed us how it worked, and our team was sold on the idea :)

Well, taking the plunge - here's my baby Soundcloud.   I wasn't raised as a producer, but I heccing have Adored* learning how to make music!

Groov's beats are helluh catchy!  <3

Ah, hey there.  I just checked in.  Threads were slow this weekend so I ended up staying offline and teaching myself more DAWs and resting.  Really burned out on tech stuff.

Anyway, I feel it would be great to plan ahead and have a team ready for another Godot Jam.  I have been doing research and I love what I've seen of it so far.

Arf!  Thanks for chiming in.

Also.  Stoats are cool.   I'm gonna check out the games you've made.

Any chance we can swap Discords, dude?  ~

How would we track that?

Heya!  I'm hoping some peeps come in and start socializing.  I'm pretty lost, myself!  xD

Hey!  So, I’ve been telling myself to just find a weekend jam to join and get involved with other devs again (see my profile for context.)  I know this is a breakneck paced one, but considering all that’s happened recently, I wanted to take a chance on Godot (please don’t message me if you want to use Unity.)    I don’t feel compelled to return to GameMaker.

Anyway.  Not used to hitting up game dev forums, so - I’m willing to contribute to tasks as needed.  With a 3 hr limit, I don’t believe we can be strict and specialize.  Since this will be a simple and quick game, I can take up whatever role the team prefers (even producing - it’ll be be pretty rad to make whatever I can in my DAW with that deadline!)   Since most of the themes seem creepy, that’ll give me a leg up.

However, I really shine at writing and 2D digital art followed by game design (I say that cause I know more theory yet have little ‘practice’).

I just wanna have fun with y’all.  I have discord and a YouTube channel I team up with.  HMU asap so we can get things figured out!

Btw, I haven’t used godot - but I’ll be binging videos this weekend!
