Honestly, i am not too sure what is my opinion on this game at the current state, absolute props that yall somehow managed to make a 2d platformer in rpg maker of all engines like holy shit that is some tech wizardry and i really enjoy the early 2000's flash game vibe music, but i found the game to be kinda glitchy with sprites flickering whenever you jump, the hit detection being really unreliable (i had to start the game all over bc the game thought i got hit by a enemy that wasnt anywhere near close to me), sometimes getting stuck if a ladder is close to a ledge and enemies completely losing the ability to hurt you if you're pregnant.

Extremely interesting and definitely has potential though, love the concept of a pregnancy metroid parody but it really needs more polish.

Definitely has potential and i do wish you continue it, with you saying how its similar to tomodatchi really makes me wish there would be a bunch of random and/or weird tasks to complete for the surrogates ranging from buying them their favorite food, rubbing their belly to weirder/more random stuff like maybe going on a space adventure or wanting to do a "thing" with tentacles. Plus with you mentioning how there will be more surrogates i wish you could maybe have them interacting with each other in some way, either through text or little doodles depicting what they were doing together. There is a bunch of potential in it and i really wish to see said potential used.

Well i definitely enjoyed the game, wish there was a bit more content and i found that the hit window for avoiding/dealing attacks isnt properly aligned with the sprite which led to A LOT of frustration esp at the very end where i was about to beat the last virus but the game decided i didnt avoid the penetrate+ attack from the enemies despite my cursor literally being on the dead center and died to that needing to start the whole thing all over.

Also i kinda wish there would be a little more animation on/interaction with woomie like maybe rubbing their belly or sometimes it kicking on the main screen would be really cute and i do wish i would be able to continue the game after beating the final virus to get all the upgrades and stuff.

But other than that i really enjoyed it, works perfectly on the steam deck with proton experimental.

im having a similar issue on linux/steam deck using proton experimental
