Good stuff, love it so far! The battle are a little too hard for me... but the racing are the top of the iceberg man! So cool to just racin' around in this. Thanks for this game LW, and for Arceus too! (wich i played and completed weeks before Nightmare Kart hit Itch/Steam) Keep up the good work... hope to see you make a platformer next!

Hi slumberparty!

I buyed Daybreak yeasterday and completed it this morning. Just want to say that I enjoyed it a lot for wat it was.

First of all: story, graphics and music are all very well made, cute and simple. The characters and their eyes expression alone make them all stand out.

Presentation wise reminds me a lot of the first 2 Legend of Spyro games, but with "player control" of classic spyro (with the exeption of the double jump wich is Legend of spyro as fuck lol, and im super down with that!). The avatars of the text box  too, simple but very very charming.

The controls are well tought, but keyboard and mouse are just not well suited for this kind of game, where a controller would really make the experience much bettere IMO... but I managed to go trough the whole game regardless because you make a good and intuitive control scheme. I particulary like the flying system, precise and fun to execute. Maybe a Hover (like the one in some classic spyro games) would make it even more precise... just a suggestion tough.

The only thing that really puzzle me are some moves (slide, slide-jump and combat) that - while cool and well made (expecialy the melee big fan of that) feel superflus in a storydriven game like this... but maybe you would use it more often in other chapters? Dont know, just want to throw it out there. Also, I notice that when you get everything its says "Level complete", like in the old spyro games and such... thing is, no level select or summary to check your progress isnt very handy if you planning to make collectables in your game. I know if you are in the main village there are various road and such that take you to old places (really reminds me of Crash Twinsanity BTW), but I think a level select would work better in this case. Makes the gamer more relaxed... just my view about it. I too make games with a lot of stuff to collect but no level select, so maybe I should not talk lol!

Overall, great game. Really want to see where the story go. You set the story well for chapter one, congrats! You just earn you a loyal follower. Best of luck for everything and keep up the good work! :D (Im italian BTW, sorry for my broken english! >.>)

Sadly, the game itself has no sound to begin with. Since I was unable to produce decent gameboy sound, I decided to leave it mute. I hope you still enjoy the game anyway! ;)

I'm happy you like it! Thanks for comment and sharing! : D

If you like, try the sequel too. ;)

fixed, sorry about that.
