Outstanding!  I immediately went and fried two eggs after playing.

Excellent, glad you enjoyed the game!  I can't say for certain if/when I'll start working on another one (it's hard to find the time), but I definitely have more ideas.  I'll keep an eye on your YouTube channel :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Excellent!  I would definitely check out your channel (although my Spanish isn't great).

Fun fact: "Pain Thing" actually came from when I was trying to reference Hellraiser in a conversation and I couldn't think of the title.  Those were the words that came out of my mouth for some reason.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!  My first game, The Onanist, occurs in the same universe, if you're looking for more.  Lots of similar dialogue/writing.

No problem, thanks for the feedback!  I will definitely consider adding something like that if I do another update.  Btw, I just added a full playthrough video if you just want to see the end of the game without playing through everything again.  Hopefully it helps anyone else who gets stuck too.

Yes, start typing the words after you open the book in the scriptorium.  The Scribe will pay you in trash for transcribing the text.

That makes 3 people who have told me they got stuck on that part, so maybe I need to add another hint.  Not sure what though.

Anyway, thanks for playing!

Hmm that's very strange.  I appreciate the description and the video, unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce the problem.  If you decide to give the game another go and still have issues with the controls, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hi, if you have time would you mind elaborating?  I would like to look into the issue but I haven't had any problems in testing.

Hey, I'm glad you finished the game and I really appreciate the feedback!  This is my first game ever so I didn't really know what I was doing.  That being said, I am not sane and the pain was all more or less intentional.  I wanted a sense of extreme scale and desolation, and I wanted the player to be confused and lost.  I am also reluctant to increase the walk/run speed as it will feel unnatural.  HOWEVER, I do want more people to finish the game so I will work on a version 2 with a shrunken city map, a path to the well in the desert, and perhaps more indicators of what to do.  Thanks so much for playing.

Thanks for the video!

Many thanks for looking into it.  Specs are: Intel Core i5-9600K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

Extremely interesting game, as expected.  I can't wait to play more of it, but the frequent hitching is making it pretty painful.  Is this normal, or just me?  Example here: https://imgur.com/a/phfxhhD
