Really great game, great style and quite fun. The game itch page is also sooo good with its design. I just wish their were more checkpoints or time would freeze/slow while aiming but I enjoyed every minute of playing this

The art is really good and it's a fun concept. I wish allies wouldn't retreat right away when they get the sword because it feels hard to make them attack but I understand they have to back up for balance/keep it engaging. Really impressive for the time though to have so many enemies/troops. (What do the angel/healers do?)

Chaining the different spells together is so fun!

The rings challenges are a great way to make the game accessible to all player while still having a good challenge available. Very smart as well to capitalize on the already made levels in multiple routes

This reminds me of playing Sonic 1 for the first time. I think it's a cool idea to have fleshed out!

The timer and leaderboard is a smart replayablity addition 

This is my favorite game I've played in the jam so far. There have been quite a few you are the gun and you use knockback to move submissions but combining it with Downwell just works so well and it is quite fun.

A simple idea but done quite well and very addicting. The bell ringing in game as an alert is a great touch

I really enjoy the concept and look but it can be hard to tell what is a bounce-able object as well as the trajectory not always lining up. Very fun take on the theme that is both unique in idea and gameplay

I'm so glad you enjoyed. Yeah the momentum through jumping and shooting at the same time was intentional, originally to kill enemies you had to be going a certain velocity but it proved to be unintuitive in playtests because shooting alone wouldn't always work, so I changed it make it so the player would kill enemies anytime they were airborne after shooting
