I failed to read the roach warning and definitely would have thrown my mouse if this wasn't a one-button game LOL. The whole thing is very well done but that part was definitely the scariest for me(I hate the crawlies

Positively vile and a very compelling base game! Obviously this is quite an old project of yours but I would love to seem more mechanism types added for more interesting battle strategies(I've heard stirrings of lasers, but latching claws/teeth, gross propulsion spitters, or grabbing vines could be interesting for multiplayer). One thing I think would immediately improve the game is somehow making it easier to pick up your spoils without being overwhelmed, but I totally understand if that was intentional to maintain the chaos edit: I think some kind of rotational momentum-based attack method could be interesting as well, some kind of axe head you have to build around for a big swing, doing a lot of initial cleaving damage but not working for the chewing that the saws do

Has anyone tried playing without using space at all? You can get the ball swinging with the movement mechanics alone and with some adjusted enemy AI and level design I think that could be even more fun

Stunningly simplistic art displaying impeccably vile concepts. This style works excellently for paper miniatures!

Why no Counting Crows? It's a great band.

495 points! (Edit: I thought this was impressive until I scrolled far enough back to see the 700-900 point scores. Forgive me for my naivete)

I don't mean to clog up the feed, but NEW HIGHSCORE: This time achieved using exclusively archers and trenches. It was tougher and I left every innocent to die, but points are points

As it turns out, you really don't much more than some spearman to clear the first half of the game and adding calvary with the right upgrades pretty much covers you from there. I scored his score was achieved with no repeated battles and all innocents saved. None of my fighting units were actually ever killed, but I slowly "Spent" my peasants in order to collect the Innocents without having to pay to heal up the peasant units.
