Hello!
We’re a small team of creatives working on a heart-wrenching visual novel that delves into themes of illness, death, and the journey of acceptance. We’re passionate storytellers, eager to craft something profoundly emotional and thought-provoking. Currently, our team falls a little short. We’re searching for like-minded individuals who want to grow, collaborate, and create something truly memorable.
About the project: The visual novel follows a young man diagnosed with a terminal illness. As his condition worsens, he will notice how he gets slowly sloppier on every aspect of his life until there´s not much that can be done. The main character will have plenty of choices and paths to take in order to make the game more interesting but all lead to the same ending.
The game offers branching paths shaped by the player's choices, creating a deeply personal experience for each player. Themes of love, regret, hope, and acceptance are central to the narrative, complemented by a minimalist yet evocative art style and a hauntingly beautiful score.
The story is not complete, but to truly bring this vision to life, we need:
- Additional artists to refine our visual assets and character designs.
- A programmer with experience in Ren’Py or other visual novel engines.
- Composer for the OST.
We’re committed to creating a meaningful and polished game that can connect deeply with its players. If you’re interested in helping us realize this vision, we’d love to hear from you.
Hello. As the tittle says, i´m dying and im trying to write a VN about how is the life of someone who is slowly dying and how your choices really dont matter as long as you believe they are the right thing to do/are happy about it. I have an idea on how to manage the art and i investigated on which engine might be better and a lot of people suggested i use RenPy so im going to use that or Unity. However, im a really slow writer and i need help with it. Any help is welcomed, and i apologize for not being able to pay.
Hi. I´ve been practicing a lot my coding skill and ive been making a really cool phone game for a month now and its almost done and all there´s left is implement the animations and art in general. In the mean time i had this great idea for a PC game which is a horror-cooking game and i need some help polishing the final ideas, game mechanics and making the art.
We will work using GitHub/GitLab and we will use Unity as our engine.
Im somewhat good enough coding so ill be the one handling that, but i still need help with the story-making since i suck at that and allat.
If it matters, i´m from Argentina, i speak both english and spanish and i have a lot of free time to work on the game or others projects as well.
My discord is: rumshum
Hi there! A few months ago, I joined a small group of about ten GameDev enthusiasts, and we embarked on creating a game with mechanics reminiscent of PlateUp and MoonLighter. The initial excitement was palpable, and we had some great brainstorming sessions. However, things took a turn when the group fell apart due to some team members lacking professionalism and commitment, which was disappointing for all of us. Now, I’m eager to join another group or find collaborators interested in participating in small projects where we can all contribute meaningfully.
I primarily use Unity for development and have some knowledge of C#, though I wouldn’t say I’m particularly skilled just yet. That said, I am dedicated to learning and improving my abilities through collaboration. I also speak both English and Spanish, which might help in communicating within diverse teams.
I've been working on some individual projects, but they often become overwhelming when I try to manage everything by myself. This usually leads me to drop them and start fresh on something new, which can be frustrating and demotivating. I believe collaborating with others could enhance my experience, creativity, and productivity. I’m excited about the possibility of working on new ideas together and learning from others along the way.
By the way, I’m on GMT-3, and I have plenty of free hours during the day and night to dedicate to project coding. If anyone is looking for a passionate team member who is eager to learn and contribute, I’d love to connect! I apologize if posting "searching for team" here is inappropriate; I just wanted to reach out and explore potential opportunities!
Also; i´m willing to use Discord, Whatsapp or whatever in order to keep in touch with.
