Some things to keep in mind:

• Refer to the Rules and FAQ of the Jam Page whenever there is a doubt on the constraints related to your submission, and don’t hesitate to ask us questions if anything is unclear!
• As you submit your game to the jam, you will be given an opportunity to highlight historical accuracy, theme relevance, as well as disclaimers around any free assets that you may have used to create your game. Take advantage of this to help yourself stand out!
• While late submissions won’t be possible, if you have valid issues related to submission, feel free to ping a Trustee/Guardian in the official discord server (for a faster response) or message us here on the community.

We’ve gathered up 15 Responses, which yielded 18 Themes (unfiltered/ungrouped). Since Since the final filtered list is fairly close to 15 Themes, we decided to skip one of the theme voting rounds. We’ll now be doing our voting rounds on:

Top 5 Voting Round: 12th - 18th of July Final Voting Round: 19th - 25th of July Tying up with the jam that begins on the 26th of July.

Both the filtered and unfiltered list will be released on the 12th of July, 16:00 GMT+2! See you then!

HAGJ9 needs your theme suggestions!

For the upcoming theme voting rounds, we need your theme suggestion by the 4th of July, 16:00 GMT+2, using the Google Form attached here: https://forms.gle/8KAoNpG6jMQtEbsp8

Two theme lists will be released for the 1st voting round on the 5th of July, 16:00 GMT+2:

1) The unfiltered theme list - All themes that were suggested will be posted on this one!

2) The official theme list to be voted via a form!

• All similar/repeated themes will be grouped.
• All inappropriate themes will be removed. Obvious tells around this will be if they are themes that would produce “historically accurate” games, any racial, sexual, yadiyadiyadiya themes. You get the idea.
• Additionally, we will post on why each of them were removed, just to remove any confusion.

Submissions for the HAGJ Wiki are now Open!

We’ve decided to take down the website, and have now moved all jam activity to its own official email and itch page. We’re aiming to create a small wiki to help beginners participate in future HAGJs, and it will be hosted here.

Trustees will edit/vet the content before publishing it to our Official Itch Page.
