your z axis is not supposed to change in 2d view because there is no depth. so you would not be on the same thing you stood on in 2d unless you were already aligned with it. its not supposed to be possible to do that anyways.

I don’t think so because you can’t move your z axis in 2d. It doesn’t exist. So you need to be aligned with the correct z axis in 3d view. Fez is not a 2d + 3d platformer/puzzle game, it is a 2.5d game which is a mix of 2d and 3d art, not a mix of the mechanics. But I see where you are coming from. If changing to 2d and back changes the z axis, it defeats the purpose of puzzles since it would be really easy.

hi, standing on where you were in 2d makes no sense because you can’t move depth in 2d. This is a common misunderstanding of dimensions and is a feature. Also part of the puzzle. 👍

Hi, you can jump as long as you are more than 30% on the platform. 

you are unable to jump because you are way too close to the edge. It’s not logical to jump when you are more to the air than to the ground so I removed that feature. Shadows don’t show in the webgl build due to it causing a lot of lag. I forgot to build it for windows. Thank you for the feedback.

very fun game but the player movement was a bit slow even on high for time.

very fun graphics. not sure how i should rate this considering you didn't make this in part of the jam. but i think this could do well on steam or something with the right audience.

Thanks! I tried to make the level 3 hard since I didn’t have much time to make levels and wanted to demonstrate the level of difficulty throughout! The strategy for the last level is to throw the can and let it fall on the side, then use a small amount of force to push it through the bottom hole and get around to the goal. You can also throw it at a precise spot on the middle hole to achieve it as well.

the point of the game is to build momentum. It takes some time to learn. You should check out my game play video linked on the project

this was really cool! I liked the 2d art mixed with the 3d setting. I don’t really see how this goes with the theme though.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I decided not to make the whole thing a rag doll because it caused the body to block the grappling gun which I didn’t like

this is because there is a range of where you can fire (said in the tutorial level at the top). The circle around you is your range. R to restart level.
