how the fuck. im pretty sure im pressing as fast as i can. could it be smth to do with framerate?

i almost made it spamming I + L but it just stops on its own FeelsDankMan maybe im not fast enough

Could u increase the impulse force a bit? FeelsDankMan downladed but still cant get over Okayeg's head FeelsDankMan i am suffering from nerve entrapment from spamming too much that could be the reason too

• Hmmm i thought i fixed this one, it is most likely related to your frame rate. Will see if i can make it better.
• The queue was never meant to show the units in the other you have bought them because i am too stupid to make it work like that FeelsDankMan
• This one is intentional, especially in the first two ages. The enemy special drops an additional nuke to your spawn point to prevent the player from stacking units there and take advantage of the upgrades. However that is not the case in the last age. I made this way to make sure that the player can only beat the game in the last age pepeLaugh
• The HP potions actually work but it is wiser to use it on high HP units like the doc. The only issue with it is the fact that it doesn't update the HP bars of the units affected. I *might* fix it cuz i doubt anyone will play the game anymore

And i agree. My initial idea was to make it so everytime the player dies, they would respawn in a random level with unique dialogues. But i figured it would be too obnoxious and not many people would care enough to get to the end

Amazing game. It definitely deserves to win, best one I've played so far. I would love a tutorial on how to achieve the glitchy graphics :)

As someone else also mentioned, it crashes when i turn the TV off.

But overall I think it really fits the theme of the jam. Hope you have the time check my game out

It has great potential to be updated into a real strategy game. For now it is just a bit too simple but i liked it. I think reflects the theme of the jam really well

How did you achieve that backgorund? I loved it.

Maybe you could add some power-ups in the future too.

The bouncing off the walls happens so the player won't walk through or get pushed through them

I move the player  by getting horizontal and vertical inputs using Input.GetAxis under the Update method. Then under the FixedUpdate method, i call another method called "Move" with the parameters "horizontal" and "vertical". I store these parameters in a Vector2 variable and then use this variable in transform.Translate().

Afaik, there is only going to be 1 winner right? If so, to be honest, my game is not even close to being good enough to win. So i want to get as much people as possible to play it and get their review so i can do better next time. I feel like our main priority should be to have fun and learn while making our games and playing others.

Neat game. Just a bit hard but might be because I'm tired as well. Definitely will play again sometime.

That happens because of the player's rigidbody. It prevents the player from running through the walls.
