I ran this with my group and they loved the sandbox feel so much they are going to become residents!

love it!

I have been running this campaign with a group of teens and they really enjoy the setting and skill-based encounters and competitions; it's given them lots of opportunities to work together. Happy to have this in my collection!

Not at all! I am also new to generating games, so it's good to know what might be confusing. Here's an example:

You've dealt with many threats but you haven't managed to address the giant snake, plus there's still a herd of sheep trampling around, and also a bunch of animated vegetables. That's three threats that are still undefeated outside the cabin, so you would roll 3d6 if you ventured out and take 1 harm for every 1 you roll. It's meant to represent the increased level of danger (and possible damage) you would experience if you tried to run out for the axe when vegetables are flying around and sheep are trying to knock you down.  Does that make sense?
