The way this reads as my exact cup of tea is almost uncanny. I love, love the many times and places when/where the rush of invention had us all flying untold heights, only to dare us to open our eyes... And behold all the new wonders and horrors awaiting us, beyond the horizon of the present times. It's a line of thought that has always both fascinated and humbled me. I'll be cheering for the success of this project, and I look forward to reading more.
Hi, I'm Sice!

I still own the very first e-mail I created back in the very early 00s. I've been consistently sending myself e-mails with photos, files and short commentaries since then (back then there weren't services like Drive or Dropbox). One of the best ideas I had as a kid, I now use it also to mark the exact date and time I conclude every art piece/game project of mine in case I need them for legal purposes. I feel like it satisfies a scratch for me no common journal or diary ever could, and I feel no need to share anything in there but with my partner. Maybe someday I'll open it as one opens an album and show it to someone much younger, walking through the tunnel of time with them, but for now simply recording the little precious details of life through the decades in all it's weirdness, happiness and sadness gives me plenty of contentment.
Thank you for the update! It's great. I can't wait to have deeper conversations with all the characters as the story progresses... I sense a lot of angst coming our way and I'm here for it. I'm wondering how you are going to explore any possible traumas the mc may have further on, and how other character's (well, especially the ROs) may react certain... Um... Coping mechanisms? The "candle" scene was really interesting and really sad at the same time. You don't usually see that sort of option in many stories. Looking forward for more!
Yeah, I understand that on a spiritual level. As I mentioned, I make some art stuff so, I totally understand how people trying to make your change course on something you are working on can be a little stressful/take some of the fun out of it... Especially when you are doing a specific piece for yourself just to try an idea or to relax. It's not even a commission or anything, in which case it would be completely fine. I mean, they are paying for it so they should get what they want, and I'm no clairvoyant haha. I'll do my best to be a good critic while letting you do your thing. It'll be an exercise for me too!
Well then, I'll be back eventually with my thoughts. As anything in life, take them with a grain of salt. Thanks for the reply once again!
Yes, here I am. Once again. Haha. Thanks for yet another title, be careful to not stretch yourself too thin tho...! Wouldn't want you with burnout of all things. That said, I'm glad you seem to be enthusiastic about trying other Undertale multiverses.
I'm writing this before actually playing it, and I've been wondering... What sort of feedback you might be looking for in your works? For example... If you want to hear about regarding the way the story is progressing, how the setting is presented, or any feedback regarding tone or pacing, or continuity (usually called high-level feedback)... Or if you would prefer mostly comments on scripting bugs (low level).
I realize you are most probably doing these both for fun and so you can develop your skills... Also, it's for the price of 0 for everyone, so I don't want to be overly critic of something someone might be doing as a way to relax and to share fun stories with others.
You see... One of my oldest high-school friends (still my friend to this day in fact) became my friend exactly because he was the one person willing to lay it on thick and seriously criticize some art pieces I did as a hobby back then. He's a writer nowadays haha. It was honestly what I wanted, receiving just praise becomes jarring after awhile and uh... It's like... You can't trust what people say? Like they are on repeat? Or just saying stuff to please you? It's weird. So yeah, I'm wondering where exactly you stand. I would be very happy in offering the same constructive honesty I received back then, if that's something you are looking for.
Otherwise, I'm more than happy to let a hobby just be your way to wind down haha! Just having fun with it is fine too, no judgments. We all need a place to just be ourselves and be free for a little while.
Again, thanks! Don't worry about replying too fast, take your time.
Haha I'm glad it made your day a little happier! Also, sort of random, I was checking out Scarlet Hollow's page and geeking out internally at how good/unique the vibe from that game is, while wondering about when the next chapter will arrive for the googolth time, and I happened to stumble upon your comment amongst the latest. I'm happy that you enjoy that one too, it's one of my favourite vns nowadays! Oh, thanks a bunch for the lastest Underfell update btw...! I'm off to eat some cookies and try and puzzle out for myself how to get the newest routes. I wonder, can we finally step into Grillbys' without dying this time? Haha! Bye~!
Hi! I'm wondering how are things for you, and how goes the writing for this story as of late? It's just it's been so long since the last message here, so I'm just checking if you, the author, are doing OK. That said, this was a really intriguing read! I really love the dynamic between my character and the royal siblings so far. I sort of regret binge-reading it all, I feel like I just devoured my favourite desert too fast and I'm disappointed that my plate is empty now haha. Regardless, I'll be patiently waiting for more! Thanks for sharing online something you clearly put so much time and thoughts into.
I'm just passing by to say, I've discovered your games a few days ago and now I'm hooked playing one after the other haha. How dare you schedule, to keep me from reading yet another chapter.
I don't want to go on for too long, but I just... Really wanted to express how much I appreciate and respect it all after noticing that you have been working on them for awhile, and it is noticeable that you have improved both your writing and your understanding of coding since you begun. You wouldn't believe how hard it can be to keep improving your skills on small but steady installments like that, especially after a certain age when so many responsibilities catch up to you and free time is worth diamonds. In my experience, I had to choose something to focus on, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do anything even though I want to learn a lot of different stuff hahaha. But with enough time, I hope to go through a whole list of them. We just need to keep at it, even if it's slowly nibbling at the subjects and making sure we understand, that's the most important part. To never stop. To stay determined. And it gladdens me that you seem to get that. It's a seemingly simple habit, but it can make you go the distance in real life too.
I hope you never lose that, and I just want you to know I'm cheering for more people to notice your interactive stories, so you have even more positive supporting words from them. I love Undertale a lot, both as a game title and multiverse basis, but I would also be very curious to read anything original you might come up with in the future. Stay determined friend, wishing you success!
Elaborating on what the author said, and as per described in the game's page, Superstition is an episodic interactive fiction. Chapters are released from time to time. If it's not there, it's because hasn't been written yet. Follow the creator to receive notifications whenever an update is released. :D
The fact that we're getting routes with two characters as complex as Cove was (and in a game with even more features coded in than the first one) for free absolutely blows my mind... I just know I'm gonna buy all DLCs on release day all over again. Waiting for a sale for this much quality content would make me feel like an actual thief hahaha!
Just coming back after a long long while to say that I love this game and am will wait patiently for future content. I legit feel so bad for Mordred, but that's what makes the story so engaging to me...! And it's super interesting that you can make him... Well... Not exactly kind and innocent either. It makes one think about how life and things that happen to us shape us, but how much of that is also because we allow it to happen? It hurts less if we fight and bite back, you know? I mean, he's still a kid so of course the adults are majorly to blame here, but if nobody tries to reach out to him if he's on a skeptical/warpath route when he's older things could end veeeery badly for everyone... Which would be very intriguing (albeit tragical) to read too. Ahh there are so many possibilities! This is one of the few stories out there I've actually went out of my way to try all the options available. You have been quite thoughtful when writing viewpoints for the many personalities of Mordred, so it's very interesting to try new things...! Thanks again for sharing your work, I hope you are healthy and content wherever you are!
Took the words straight out of my mouth. The MC has such a well determined personality, it's a breath of fresh air from most interactive stories I'm used to. Since they are not a blank canvas, it allows us to have a more well defined opinion on *them* instead of the *options allowed to them*, because all options seem like something they would do depending on their mood/control at the time, instead of "personality traits", you know? So yeah, I'm rooting for them. I hope they succeed in their mission.
I have always thought that masks are such beautiful accessories, so of course I had to download this! ( :< My inner child is very disappointed masks are not more commonplace in the real world haha)
So far I really love all the visuals, and since I'm sure a lot of people are going to tell you just how much they like the character art... I'm going to comment on something else that will probably be overlooked. So, the background art *really* fits the ambience... Something about the fact that you can't distinguish everything, seeing just outlines, simplified shapes and textures... Almost everything painted in a same colour unless there's a light source really sells the feeling that you are in a very dark location. Also, the noise texture overlay is a nice touch too... You know that kind of dark granulated texture that you can see sometimes from behind your eyelids when you close your eyes? Probably sounds odd, but it reminded me of that. Haha.
Anyway, I'm off to seeing all routes. Thanks for sharing your game! Hopefully I'll be able to provide you some constructive critique, or at least find a few typos. :)
It's okay. I also have ADHD and a **lot** of different interests. It's a constant fight against myself to actually get **something** done among the many, many things I've started/jotted down on a notepad at some point. But once you figure out how to get one, just One. Long. Project. Finished... Things start to get easier. It's like... You know when you actually learn a new language? Or it finally clicks what you have to do to ride a bike? There's something about what you are attempting that makes you understand something about yourself. You can apply that subsequently to your workflow in other personal goals, making new attempts flow better and better as times passes.
So yeah, I agree with your therapist. For now, focus in one or two important things for you. Not only so you can actually finish them, but because focusing on few tasks will tune you to your feelings and thoughts through the process, which is helpful so you can obtain understanding of what makes *you* able to conclude your goals. I believe everyone has to go through a similar process at some point in our lives, whether we are aware of it happening or not. Having someone to teach/guide you helps our reasoning to connect the dots in our perception, which speeds up our brains' adaptation. If it is too used to doing multiple things normally... It will feel very frustrating at first. Like there's not enough stimuli at times? But it needs to learn to work in a slower pace, for your sake, and to not build up stress just because you are not multitasking/hyper-focused. You are just teaching it how, and that there's no need to fight you back just because the rhythm it is used to changed somehow.
The things that you might feel and do, and physical/mental mechanisms you will implement to push yourself to conclusion through the whole process... And even the things you might unknowingly be doing to sabotage yourself for some reason (yeah, that can happen). Knowing those things and understanding where they come from and how to make them work for you... That's a very precious, very personal understanding to achieve. The more you open yourself to notice your own thoughts and reasoning, the more knowledge you will obtain from this process to apply to your life in the future.
So yeah, my own perception of the process? You are unlocking a super power. A really useful one. Up to you how strong it can get. I wish you all the best. You'll get stronger for all this trouble, I assure you.
Aaaaah I've been looking everywhere when I noticed the game version I was reading wasn't going to be updated again. Glad to have found your work here. You have a very entertaining writing style, the characters are very... Endearing? I guess I mean to say that it makes me want to empathise with the things they do/have went through, even when they aren't exactly good towards the MC. As they say, it's what life has taken from you that gives you shape, scars 'n all. You have made things intriguing to explore so far, and I'm pleased with the amount of the questions/reactions my character can have, and the following reactions from those around them. Looking forward for more...!
Please take your time. No pressure is bad for both work and learning, but too much pressure, from others or oneself, makes one crack. As an artist, I can't help but remember my other creative fellows that they too need moments to dive into the wondrous works from other's and take a break from their own. Hope this messages finds you in peaceful spirits.
Glad to hear things are better there now...! I think I have never seen that kind of a roof... Tile? With a texture? I don't know what that is called, English isn't my first language haha.
Yeah, neutered dogs do tend to gain weight due to a lack of certain hormones (I mean, we too, as we all age). Make sure your friend has a little extra time to play fetch and walk, and perhaps consider changing her rations. There are a few formulated towards neutered dogs that have a lower amounts of carbs and fats. It helps them to keep within healthy weight range. :)
Ah... I don't know about coconut oil being good for fungi, but I have personal experience with clove oil. It works very well. And yeah, it can take awhile (like, a week) for results to show. Fungal infections are a pain to heal. Even after it looks good, make sure to keep the area clean and keep applying medication for another month or so, to make sure all the spores are really gone. It may break out again otherwise.
Worlds inspired by cultures I'm (yet) unfamiliar with are so interesting to delve into. I'm really glad to find something that branches off the beaten path from time to time, it really tickles my curiosity, and makes me want to research about it later...Looking forward to more chapters, as always! Thank you for sharing your work with us.
Hahaha yeah, ever since you posted your first Nusantara demo like, really, reeeeally long ago... I believed you had it linked on your Deviartart back then, my memory might be a little blurry by now. If I'm not mistaken, it wasn't done on Renpy before and then you needed quite a long while to figure out how to basically rebuild it from scratch? I used to follow a lot of other VN creators then, mostly flash stuff. But I did play the first version of your game long before the second one was released.
I've always respected people that put effort in creating original content... Especially when they managed create more and more over and over, be it in small or large batches, over years and years. And still, there is more they want to try to do, more to learn and improve, pushing on no matter what everyone else thinks... It's an inspirational journey to observe by itself. **Shrugs** So following you was a no-brainer really. I'm glad to see you are still at it. Soon I'm planning on begin to share my own projects... A little nervous putting myself out there, if I'm being honest. I'm not good at being a constant presence online, but I hope they'll inspire people to create too, and that feels more important than my comfort zone.
Hahahaha that's somewhat my case too, except my trusty companion is a bird. I do have a soft spot for all kinds animals truth be told, even the ones people are usually afraid of. I keep trying to save basically everything that accidentally gets inside my home...
And yeah, the older I get, the more the impression that adults are basically big kids faking 'till they make it. Sometimes I receive my bills and I have that strange moment that I still go "Wow... This *really* has my name on it. It still feels weird to look at." Hahaha.
And hey, no biggie. I'm glad I had this opportunity to chat with you for awhile. Do ping us from time to time so we know you are okay. Return when it feels right.
All the best to you and yours.

No at all! I've actually been following your works for years (complete lurker here), it's such a great thing to see people develop their skills and grow as people online. I'm a huge introvert though, I usually completely forget to even check social medias and such and miss whenever something or someone I'm following updates more often than not. Too busy creating stuff myself, as you probably understand very well haha. So truly, I stumbled upon your notification by chance, but I'm glad I did. Again, please let us know if there's something we can help with. Even if it's just talking about it. Letting some frustration out helps to focus on the actual problem. Take care, you both!
I'm so, so sorry you are going through this. I really do think something fishy might have been going on. Do whatever both you and your mom think is right, and don't hesitate to ask for help, online or otherwise, if you need it. The more eyes when a strange situation is happening, the better. That has always worked out for me, at least.
This is absolutely among some of my favorite text-based games out there, and I read them *a lot*. Hoping you are off to a nice start this year, and that we are blessed with an update soon haha. By the way, thank you for sharing this for free with an opt-in Patreon. It is a very nice story, I can tell it takes no little effort to triple check all the coding in it, it really helps to raise the bar on quality for games like this overall ... Plus, this is the sort of thing that got me into the wondrous world of games as a kid, demos and freebies were all I could afford to play back then, so thank you for giving continuity to that in a way. Take care to not have a burnout from overworking yourself, ok? From a content creator to another. :)
