That one present box at the end almost got me. What a trickster. Love the game and I love how there's little post cards as a reward. Really enjoyed it!

(1 edit)

Why is this addicting and why cant I pluck them out even though my thumbs touches the flowers on my screen? 100/10 would play it again

Maxed out the speed and just loving seeing the kitten appear and disappear literally like The Flash. Love this game! And I didn't realise you are the creator for WHATEVER! I love you seeing your progress in the Godot group. You gained a new follower!

Too kind of you to say that. Thanks Gem!

Really nice idea and simple. Amazing!

I was able to play your demo at Level Up KL 2023! But didn't went far into demo. However, I had the chance to replay it again to the fullest at home. Unfortunately I wasn't able to record the gameplay to give you a full immersive of my comment, but I hope it helps.

First of all, I love the tapir so much, it's so cute and chonky. I'm also a big fan of MUOC who supports Malayan Tapir Conservation Centre.

I like how during the serving, there's a clear indication whether I've cooked the food/drink or not. I love that! I almost made double of the food. I would hope that there's an indication of such during the tutorial, I think that's what missing. You have the tutorial of clicking the pot to start cooking, but you don't have the indicator to click on the customer's speech bubble when it's highlighted = available food on the display. It took me a while to realise non-highlight speech bubble means I don't have the food prepared.

There's a little layering glitch where the customer left the seat and the seat graphic is above the customer's graphic.

I know this is just a demo and you may have this in mind already. It would be great to have a customer's patient indication or how long they would wait for the food before leaving.

I have an idea that you may already have in mind, when the customer tapau back, maybe it's the red plastic bag or maybe if they just tapau beverage it's ikat tepi! Ooh I love that small details if you do plan on adding that.

Overall, call me bias but I love the art and mechanics. Excited to see how the level progress and the ending.

I love how smooth the animation is and the art direction. Simple and educational.

I LOVE IT! I've played until the end of the demo and I came across a few glitches (?) I'm entirely unsure of such. You can find my full gameplay here for your research, it's 2.5 hours long but I enjoyed all of the elements that you've tried to make this interesting, especially for an alpha demo!

Glitches (?) & feedback:

1. The staff doesn't seem want to returned to their post after the incursion has ended. I had to fire them or else I'm losing money.

2. There is a small error on the code with my convo with an NPC that opens from 10PM - 5AM. Rapid City wasn't highlighted properly.

3. The option for me to click the staff to work as a cook or a waiter doesn't seems to work. Or no indication that they would go to work after I press it. Would be great to have a small indication that it registered.

4. The part of the hiring staff portion or to see your profits, I may have missed the highlight, or I've jumped the gun on making my profit plummeted (lol) - This is just a user error but something to note that I missed the highlight or it wasn't shown?

5. I love the art, the characters personality. I'm not entirely sure of certain words usage. I didn't get the meaning of it. Maybe using a layman term words would work for people like me, BUT other than that it's great! Dialogue could use some work a little bit, but it's very good. Naturally, especially Jericho. I would go for another run on the alpha just to see what happens if I'm mean to everyone since I was being nice on my first run.

There's a few more feedback that I've concluded in the gameplay but this is just the gist of what I could remember saying. Thanks for making this game! Can't wait to see it on Steam!
