I'm glad you liked it! Here's a pic of all the train passengers along with their names.
The attendants are using nicknames, so I've included their real names as well :)
This game definitely nailed the spooky atmosphere. The art, writing, and sound design were all so creepy! I was TENSE for most of it, especially when the music would cut out in favor of ambient sounds or silence. I might have even leaned away from the screen a few times when I thought I might get jumpscared, lol.
The CGs were so cinematic and evocative as well- The section when Leo and Wolf first reunite in the woods was extremely cool! Can't believe you did so much art for this in just two months...
I won't talk too much about the plot for spoiler reasons, but I will say I was morbidly delighted when a certain choice came up. Brii and I were debating/joking throughout the entire game that we might get to make that kind of decision, and we were pleased to be right.
Also, I was not expecting to find Wolf's personality so cute?? He's trying his best out there, bless him.
All in all I think it's a unique premise, and I'm excited to see where things go in the final version!
I am SO intrigued by this demo! By the end, I still couldn't decide if I thought Addie's secret was something supernatural or not. I'm very much looking forward to finding out in the full game!
The writing was great and all the characters were extremely endearing. I was expecting Warren to be a lot colder for a lot longer than he was, but I nearly died when he smiled 😭. I also really loved when Addie described their basket balancing and Mack immediately went with it. It was extremely sweet. I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between them.
I'm not sure if it's intentional, but I got the feeling Addie has OCD or something similar. My theory is that has something to do with what they're hiding...
Anyway, here's some fanart! The designs are so my type, it's crazy.
I've been holding off on commenting on this because I wanted to try and come up with something better to say than "Aelfric is cute! Conrad is cute! This whole game is so cute!"
So, sorry for this series of disjointed thoughts, haha
I fell into the same trap as Edmund did. From his looks, I thought Aelfric was going to be much more of a jerk. The fact that he's just... earnest and whimsical is extremely charming. A v good boy for sure.
I loved all the little RPG world jokes and aesthetic touches, especially the nostalgic sound effects! I read it with a friend and we both laughed out loud quite often. I know the slimes are right here on the page's bg, but I quickly forgot about them and when one showed up in-game, I died laughing xD
All in all, the story is extremely sweet, and all the characters are so charming and interesting. I really loved it! Especially Conrad. What a cutie T-T
(btw, Edmund must secretly be a slime, because he jelly af...)
I'm glad you liked the game!
The steam version does have more information about Seren's creator (you even get to see them in one ending!). You get hints about Seren's past memories, but you won't get to see them outright. There are also secrets that show a bit about the origin of Seren's creator and AI like Seren in general.
There is a new good ending that shows a lot more of the Operator, but he is not a love interest. Dex is the only love interest in the game, no matter what version you play.
I hope that helps!
Sure! Bad End 5 is on the operator route, so first you have to select the option "Trust the pilot." when Dex gets into a scuffle with the IG officer off ship. Then, when the operator visits the ship, you have select "Tell him about Dex's injury."
After that, when the ship gets hit with the EMP blast and you encounter the stranger, choose any of these options: "Help me remember.", "Dex needs him.", or "I can't..." and you'll get bad end 5!
Hope that helps :)
