That is awesome! I love how it looks and also that you're going to try to keep up the old demo. I like being able to go back and compare things. Super stoked for the new demo release, which is actually on my birthday! I love this game and I'm so excited to play through the prologue again.

Danny side profile sprite with raise eyebrow missing a lot of his tattoo (unsure if same with female Danny). Have a screenshot with the textbox hidden in case I did not describe it well.

If skip after letting Cass in, BG stays as outside of apartment.

If you skip at the fire station with Cass as FwB, when the camera/scene pans, the BG goes black. Cass' sprite and the text box are still present and visible.

When skipping with Cass, Danny and Hayden, Cass' sprite ends up underneath Danny's.

Humberto's sprite seems to have a filter over it, the one of his hands in his pockets. Colors are muted. Could be the opposite problem if his jacket is supposed to be brown and not orange.

Ringing continues to play when skipping from the conversation with Micah's parent to talking to Tay on the beach.

Should have a night version of inside mansion BG for when you leave the room after RO suggests practicing kissing in the tub, since the BG has sunlight coming through unseen windows and it is dark at that point.

Ah, okay! I was worried if I chose it someone else would take that as my character not being interested in them even if they're the one I go for. Makes sense with the stats. I look forward to seeing how they change in the final product! I was going to make myself a little guide because I can be hit or miss with my choices (Yo-Jin-Bo: The Bodyguards... OMG, I could not get Muneshige XP), but I'll be making it after the game's full release, then. ^_^

I really love the writing and the storyline. I've played through almost every different thing so far. Just need to go through each RO with Micah as an ex instead of a bully, and I'll be done with everything until the next chapter releases. ^_^ Thanks for replying again and  for all the hard work put into the game. Wish I had chosen a higher tier on Kickstarter now XD

Sorry, didn't mean to sound rude or anything, I was just curious about that since when said character flirts with you, you can say you're not interested in guys. I thought it was an interesting conversation and wondered if there was one similar with anyone else.

I did have a moment with Tara (/Tariq) looking really upset after not choosing them and then them witnessing Danny leaving my apartment. Does this happen no matter what you say to them before that? Is it affected by if you choose to go talk with them over things to try to mend things with them?

Also, I'm very curious how the romance/friendship meters change. Is it just based on who you choose to take with you? For instance, I didn't notice any changes to Danny's when I was talking with him, no matter what choice I chose. Is it calculated  after the ends of the chapters or is it not really affected until after you chose them and then is affected by the flirt options that will come in later chapters?

Okay, Daniel is the best. Such a sweetheart! I love him to bits and I'm so worried I might be messing up, but I really hope I'm not. Also, I have to ask: Is the butler a reference to a certain person with the same (first) name and appearance? Because when I saw him, I immediately thought of said person (avoiding spoilers as much as I can, even though he's not a super big character). And the draaaamaaaaaaa, OMG. More alsos: is there a point where you can say you're not interested in women? Cause I know there was one point where you can tell a character you're not interested in men, but one for the opposite would be nice. I noticed some grammatical errors/misspellings/other oopses. Any where I could list them to be of help, if it'd be of help? Aaaaand I love this game so far and am excited for more. It's amazing. Thank you for all your hard work!

I wish I had found this game while it was on Kickstarter, but I have it on Steam now! Just finished my first run with Robin. I love it! Robin Hood has always held a special place in my heart, though, so I knew I'd love the game. I hope you feel better soon and don't push yourself too hard! Also, might I ask if there is going to be a purchasable guide at any point? I'm afraid that sometimes I'm terrible at figuring out how to get certain endings in VNs. 😅

I was looking up if DL was available for PC, since I've never played it but would like to (sadly the answer is no), and came across this. The art looks amazing! I love dating sims/otomes and while I can't download this at the moment, I certainly will soon! It looks great. If you need help with coding, there is a Ren'Py reddit. I code myself and am also very much so a beginner, but people on there are super helpful. Good luck and keep going! You can do it.

I have only done Oleander's route so far, but I am in love with this game already! Also, out of curiosity, I did the aftercare thing, and that is so, so sweet. I likely won't need it, but it's wonderful that it's there. I can't wait for the game to come out. I'm so excited for what comes next with Oleander's and am certainly going to go for all the others as well.

I've honestly always loved the original start screen, but this new one is super gorgeous! I love the lowered opacity close-ups on all their faces. Also, having the dark silhouettes of arches held up by pillars between each scene and the subtle glitter in the darkness like stars is super pretty. Love it!

In the first game you play with the guys, if you select to tell Yuugo for your question "You've switched sexes for a day! What do you do?" in the chat when you send it to him it just has the "You've switched sexes for a day!" but it does have the other part when he presents it to the rest of the group.

Also, I believe this one is already kind of in the 'Known bugs' log, but in Yuugo's route when loading a save in the chat that happens after a particular server notification on Day 8 (or is it 9? I don't quite remember, haven't had much sleep and I lose track of the days in-game anyways ^_^;) it displays that chat and shows that your character is typing, but never moves past that. If I load before that in a chat, it has the bug of showing that your character is typing but never moving past it. I took a screenshot of the Yuugo route specific bug, but I won't post it here so no spoilers ^_^

Another bug in Yuugo's route, this one during the 'Never Have I Ever' game. If you chose that you got in a fist fight, instead of having your name in Ansel's reply, it says (player name). Here's a screenshot just in case I didn't explain it very well ^_^;

I'm on Ansel's route now and just encountered another bug XD On the topic of the bunny stickers. He says "Kind of off topic, but gosh I can't get over how cute the bunny is", the conversation continues about how it normally does, though with slight differences, then he says "Kind of off topic, but gosh I can't get over how cute the bunny stickers are :3" and has the normal conversation that comes after that. I assume that the slightly different version is his route-specific dialog, while the other way is his everyone-else's-route dialog. I took screenshots of that as well. ^_^

Oh, I've also noticed that after selecting a route, often there seems to be no music. I noticed it with Sasha's and Ansel's so far.

Also, I've beta tested a lot of games at this point, of course I'm patient! ^_^ I'm also working on programming my own otomes, though using RenPy.

I reloaded my Hugo save and tried it again to see if it was from playing so long before and it froze again. I reloaded a third time and tried the other option and it went forward just fine. I assume that means there's an error in the script somewhere that makes that option being chosen bring everything to a screeching halt. I took a screenshot of it.

You're welcome! I did download and use the updated version. I'm also having the bug that others have shown in screenshots where the chats will post all of the text from before in the first one. Also, when starting a new game, the icons for some of the guys and PC were already changed to the faces (and shoes in Leland's case XD). So far I've done Leland's route and was just finishing Hugo's when the game froze on me and I couldn't move forward or click on anything, and then when I hit the escape key I couldn't save or return or anything, either. I ended up ALT+F4-ing the game. I'll try it again and see if it has that same error. And one final bit of feedback: could a skip/fast forward button/shortcut be added (I did discover that 'A' makes it auto-forward! Yay!)? I like to have a different name for every route. That's all the feedback and bugs I have! (for now ^-^; sorry for all this.)

I have a bug to report. The auto forward is greyed out and not working for me. I downloaded the game 5 hours after it released. Was there an update to it after that which fixed this? I manually install games from Itch.io, since I normally use Steam for all my games. Just waiting for the Steam release to come! ^_^

I will definitely download and play this soon! Frey seems to be my type of guy, as well as Eguze, so I look forward to meeting them. I'm going to wait to download until I can pay at least a little bit to help fund you. ^_^

Going to war is Sahi's. Agreeing to marriage is Aalam's. I do not know of any guides myself, but I hope you saw Harlevin's comment to yours about doing some gentle choices because that's the ruling style you need for his. So I guess, witty and gentle are probably the main things for his route? I haven't played in a while. I may have to go back and experiment and write down every choice I make and what endings I get.

I have this on Steam and have been searching for a guide online for how to end up in a relationship with Baxter in Step 4. I've dated and married Cove, dated Derek, and have done Baxter's Step 3 and am in Step 4. I read on Tumbler that there are pitfalls to avoid in order to get Baxter back, but I can't find anything on that. I know OL is really flexible and much easier than other otomes I've played, but I'm terrified of messing everything up with Baxter. I have so many saves O.O Are there things to avoid, or am I worrying too much?

Also, thank you for the wonderful game(s) that is(/are) Our Life. I can't wait for the second to be done.

Hello! Still need help getting Aalam? He likes someone spunky and with some bite to them, as Harlevin says in a comment on here. Witty, Confident, and Impulsive seem to be the best with him, and either Gentle or Aggressive ruling style (I got him mixing Con and Agg and Con and Gen when I was trying for Sahi.) Hope this helps if you still needed it! ^_^

If you still need help getting Sahi, I managed to get him going confident with the letter and I think some other option, wait until the next day for the meeting, gentle when asking to talk to Sahi privately, I think I did naïve when walking down the hall with him to the meeting room, doing the top option of "we know how to get our hands dirty" during the entertainment (this is what those one or two Confident choices are for), and continuing with gentle ruling when talking to him. Everything else, I went aggressive, since you need to start a war with Andromeda to get him. I got four personality traits up, with the two highest being Impulsive and Aggressive, with slightly lower Spoiled and Gentle.
If you go too high with Confident you'll likely get Aalam. So, Confident, Witty, Impulsive will likely lead to Aalam.
If you go Strategic or Practical, you'll get Lune, though I also got him when I went with high Naïve with low-ish Witty, Confident, Aggressive, and Gentle (I tried a lot of different stuff in my endeavor to get Sahi.)

I commented something similar on the Kickstarter as well, but don't give up on the Kickstarter! The developer of The Silent Kingdom, Lucky Cat, had her Kickstarter for the game fail it's first time. Then she tried it again, and it was fully funded plus some. So, if the Kickstarter fails, try again. No harm no foul, right? I will of course come back and make my pledge again if it does fail this first go and you try again. ^_^

I noticed another typo after getting all three LIs endings/beginnings. In the beginning, the MC says they've gotten King Aalam's letters for six months and that for the past six months they haven't been able to walk past the library without slowing/stopping because that's where they're father died. Then, at King Aalam's ending, they thank their people for the honor of being their Ruling Monarch for a month. Then in Sahi's ending, one of the people shouts about the MC having been a Monarch for barely three months.
I would think that right after the MC's father's death, the MC would have been crowned Ruling Monarch. So we have at least three different amounts of time given for how long they've been ruling: one month, three months, and six months. I assume six is the correct amount and that this will be fixed in the second drafts of all the routes, but I just thought I'd point it out just in case.
Love the game, though. I can't wait to see how the story progresses. Also, I'm curious how much more comes after the demo. Is the demo a fifth of the final length? A forth? A third? Half? It feels like a third to me, honestly, but that's just because that would be rather satisfying and it does evoke the feeling of the beginning, middle, ending structure of a story.

I noticed a bug or typo. When putting your falcon out to fly, at least with a male falcon, he is referred to as "he" correctly once, but then is referred to as "she" in the rest. I don't know if this is the same for the female falcon as I haven't gotten that far into the game with a female falcon chosen.

This game is incredible! Lovely writing and I love the relationships between the characters. I haven't finished quite yet, but I will soon. Mathias is probably my favorite, though I love Mandra as well. I really wish you could have a romantic relationship with Mandra if you're not in one with Mathias. Though I did just notice in the description it said you could have rendezvous with other characters while in the friend route, so I'm definitely going to have to try it! I also didn't think I would like the black and white aesthetic, but I have to say it fits really well with this game and makes it even more unique than it already is. I can't imagine it any other way. Thank you for your lovely work and time and care put into this game!
