The game seems fun and the character dynamics even more so, but I'm on day 4 and find the real-time aspect a bit of a hit-or-miss. Unfortunately, mostly miss so far, due to reasons I'll describe in a second. I usually don't play games with those mechanics due to work but being able to adjust the schedule to fit around mine is an amazing feature, the only problem being it tends to not work as intended - I'd set the midday meeting to after 3pm just to open the game not long after and not seeing any new interactions, just to return an hour later (still within the timeframe) to see multiple missed meetings with timestamps of 11am for mid-day and 3:30 pm for evening, despite the evening one being set to after 9pm. Having to constantly rewind to reply is a bit of a hassle, and if I'm not mistaken the relationship hits don't really reset? I'm not sure what's causing the meetings to not trigger correctly, if you have any tips on that it'd be much appreciated.

Luckily, I'm starting my holiday tomorrow so I've decided to start a new game and give it another go, with the default meeting times this time. I've enjoyed what I've seen of the plot so far and I'm definitely looking forward to finishing

I wish I could say anything more constructive than just singing your praises but I'm afraid that's all I'm gonna do. I've enjoyed the demo, which does a great job at hooking you into the story and showcasing the gameplay features. Having personality traits affect the story and how the character acts is great, I'm looking forward to multiple playthroughs already!

Nice "info-dumping" balance - learning about the world along with the MC was handled well, the only time I thought 'well this is getting a bit overwhelming' was followed by characters actually acknowledging the same thought within the story, making it very fitting rather than off-putting. It felt quite immersive, to be slightly in over your head along with the character you play. The world itself feels vivid, I like how it takes inspiration from the already 'common' fantasy tropes and turns them into its own, making the story easy to follow while still unique. Nice hint of intrigue at the end there, too!

All of the characters introduced so far have been a delight, I can't wait to interact with them more! I'm curious about Arien the most so far, the 'cold jerk' characters are usually my favorites and I like his portrayal so far. He may be rude as far as manners are considered, but that seems to stem from his pragmatism rather than anything else. quick question can i date Rheala? no? oh okay ..

I think this goes without saying, but the art is absolutely gorgeous. The art style itself, the backgrounds, the character designs?? Amazing. The animations are very smooth and a nice addition! I've stared at the MC sprite for so long you have no idea, all the outfits are great but there's something about the MC one that I just adore immensely.

Usually, I have some qualms with visual novels made with Unity, but The Radiants runs very smoothly. No inexplicable crashes, no weird lag in oddly specific moments, just a very pleasant experience overall! The only quirk I found is that skipping doesn't stop at choice screens, causing the MC sprite to, uh, 'spasm' quite a bit with the sped-up animation.

I found two issues with the text, both involving Grey in the second week. First is I think on Wednesday? Text says "I turn to see the a familiar smirking face" , using 'the' and 'a' at once. Second was at the party, "Attending to his guests, really? The way is acting, you'd think this was some fancy dinner party", I believe you're missing a pronoun?

Overall, the game seems amazing so far! Do you have any means of support set up? Patreon, ko-fi? I can't wait to follow along with the development!

It seems I still can't access the Premium content, neither with a previous save nor when starting a new game.. Fingers crossed the issue is only on my end and no one else has that problem anymore, this bug seems to be giving you trouble for a while now. I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Since those files are not downloadable unless you buy them again, could we have an update on the fix? I'm interested in the story and would love to play the game eventually.

That was fun! I enjoyed the little twist of the narrative where (spoilers i guess??) it's the player being the impostor this time around! (It does raise the question tho, how meta is this, are we playing an impostor or are we the impostor? Cool nonetheless)

Took me a while to figure out (hopefully) all endings, one of those by complete accident, too- but it was a good kind of struggle.

All in all it's a fun short little game!

The game looks interesting so far! On the technical side, the GUI is very nice, I love the music and sound - very atmospheric; both the art style and the character designs are eye-catching and beautiful.

I've enjoyed the brief introduction to the world at the beginning of the game, informative enough to settle you in the story but not so long you end up tired of the lore within first few minutes. I'm interested to see where the story goes :) I don't know what it is about 'jerk' characters that interests me the most but I like Arthmael already, although I can't wait to meet the rest of LIs (so happy to see an NB character on the list!)

As far as issues go, I've spotted a misspelling (Cadice says helping the people was her 'responsability' instead of 'responsibility') ; and one grammar mistake (first interrogation, 'What did you planned to do?' should be 'What did you plan to do') while reading the game. Also on one occasion the main character sprite seems to flicker (in the room at the end after the 'Maybe I've been too naive, too blind' line), I'm not sure if that was intentional or not but it felt a bit off. I'm also pretty sure I caught another misspelled word but for the life of me I could not find it again, so that might have just been me being too tired after work to function ^^''

I can't believe I haven't checked it out properly until now! The UI is beautiful, sound effects are very nicely done and I love the movement of sprites! Can't say much about the story since the demo is short, but I am intrigued with the world and very curious about where the story leads. Can't wait for the full release!

After finally having some time I could try out the demo and I have to say, I really enjoyed what you've got for us so far. The art is amazing and I love the general 'theme' of the game, the premise is interesting and I enjoyed the writing a lot - we're introduced to the characters and the world without it feeling like being fed stiff exposition in the middle of action. The characters themselves seem interesting so far, there's one I was a bit 'wary' of but after reading Teegan's description their route appears to be more of 'helping them find their way in the world' than the 'born sexy yesterday' trope so that kinda quelled my worries.

All in all, great demo and can't wait for more content to be released!

I don't believe that's a fair claim, other than "a bunch of wanted criminals in space" there are no obvious similarities between the two. And that concept itself is hardly original. The character archetypes might be similar, but still seem distinct enough for me. I don't intend to start anything, it's just that I think telling someone who spent over a year developing their project (that going only off the date of their first Patreon post mad months before Andromeda release) that they're ripping someone else off comes across disrespectful. The general premise of the game doesn't seem all that similar to A6 either, nor the character dynamics as of yet.

Again, I mean no disrespect to you nor your personal opinion, I just felt the need to state that your comment came off as a bit insulting, even if you didn't mean it that way.

Have a good day and stay safe!

I just played the game for the first time and I have to say it's amazing. While I wasn't too fond of the 3D style CGs at first I grew quite fond of them, I'm glad I gave it a try. The story and the characters are intriguing, the mini games are a pleasant addition.

My only issue is replayabilitiy, in a way - I always play one game multiple times to see all "routes" , and it may be just my limited knowledge but I can't seem to find a way to make it so the engine skips only previously read text? I've toggled the option on and off in the settings multiple times, tried skipping using ctrl as well as simply pressing the skip button, and it seems to always skip all text regardless. It makes it rather difficult to go through the game with different romances and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong ^^'' I'm so used to how RenPy works that I'm quite lost to different engines

The thing about game development is that you never have absolute control over how long it takes - so don't worry about the delays, work at your own pace, we're sure you're just as anxious for the final release as we are ! It's obvious you want the game to be exactly what you want it to be and I think it's great!

That being said, I absolutely love every aspect of what we've seen so far - the art is gorgeous, the storyline interesting, and the amount of customization we are given goes far above anything I've played so far (both in terms of appearance and personality). Implementing that must have been a lot of work!

I just finished the demo and I'm absolutely in love with it! You got me with all my favorite tropes and 'archetypes' , I can't wait for the final release. Keep it up and good luck!

Great demo! Got me really interested in the world you've created, and I absolutely adore Deka . Can't wait for the final version!

It may sound silly, but is the lack of any sound a bug or something you simply not yet included?
