If you want to try something new with your text system... I would go with a "What's your personality." So if the players wants the person to react in a "I don't want to change! Make it stop!" kinda way or "I-Is that mine!? It's soo... Sensitive!"

Would require more thought but hey could be fun to have like different option for the dialogue?

Dunno how far you wanna go with this project but maybe you can have an occasional 2nd person talk to you? Like a "Is everything alright?" maybe a choice based reaction?

Also don't have to go with any of this, just brainstroming new idea's perhaps XD

Perhaps an option of like having text enabled or not? So people who want to hear the thoughts of the guy can read through it and those who don't can just disable it?

So far I love the customisability of each single body part! I can't wait to see different species and sound.
Maybe you could add some text bubble's showing the thoughts of the human we play? Keep up the good work!
