The idea was "Into the Breach" with Castlevania style items and characters. It was too ambitious for one week though, I hadn't done any game dev in over a year and I had no idea what the best way to implement a turn based game in bevy would be.  We used sickle ui which I wasn't familiar with either and I kind of struggled with. We had a lot of things that were almost implemented but we had to abandon as we just ran out of time.

The tower was meant to be able to shoot in four directions but didn't have time to implement it (or remove it before we published) , you can  recruit new units if you build a tavern, blacksmith does nothing and is just a waste of gold. I wish we'd had time to implement tooltips and stuff.

The tavern can be used to recruit new units and buy upgrades. Clicking on the building on the map brings up a window with all the options.

The more expensive houses are just more expensive (as far a I remember). The blacksmith does nothing, it was meant to provide armour items like boots, shield, helmet, platemail etc that would provide extra bonuses but we didn't have time to implement it and we ran out of time even to remove it before the deadline.

Yes, I ran out of time, I wanted to implement some different control options.

Same with the levels,  when you clear a level you are meant to progress to the next but I was in such a hurry that I never played  long enough to complete a level and forgot that I hadn't implemented it until 15 minutes before the submission deadline.
