thanks!

There are 12 hours of voting left! I've been super impressed with the submission. Awesome work everyone. This was a great game jam and I'm happy to be a part of it with all of you talented devs/artists/designers/etc...

If you've got time, try to play and rate a few more games if you can! There are some great submissions!

Good luck everyone and thanks for the fun!

The game's visuals are fun with gameplay reminiscent of a blend between Flappy Bird and the Google dinosaur game. The controls were a bit frustrating, I couldn't see the string until I'd let go of my mouse which made it more of a guessing game than an arcade game. Other than that, fun idea, I'd love to see it with a little polish!

The engaging gameplay involves skillfully navigating through enemy swarms, with a rewarding explosion when chaining them together. The music and sound effects are enjoyable too!

Despite a minor issue with character rotation the game is well-executed overall! Great submission!

Love your idea here. Nice for a weekend game jam and with a little polish this could turn into something really great! Nice start!

Thanks for the compliment!

You're epic af!!!

Yeah, if I were to expand on this game I would seriously add like 30 options for each category. Just for fun hahaha.

Yo thank you! I'm glad you like the art. Pixel Art is Life! hahaha

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! The control scheme is what's used for "Drift" games, so maybe you just don't like the genre. I highly recommend Nova Drift on Steam though. Same controls but very engaging and fun gameplay.

Theme wise, I was just thinking "Connect the parts of your ship" and also when your weapons or shields break, you've gotta "Reconnect" them. Meh, not a super literal translation of the meaning.

Anyway, thank you and I good luck to you!

Oh man, so much balancing required hahaha. I might continue to polish this one after the jam. Had fun with it, thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Fantastic example of simple, excellent core gameplay. Well done! I don't have anything bad to say, this is just a great game jam game. (Also, Pico-8, respect!)

I agree hahahahaha, incredible

This was funny and having multiple endings is a nice touch. Made me giggle. Congrats on your first game jam!!! I hope it was valuable and enjoyable for you!

Dude thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Thanks for playing! I played your game with my daughter and we both laughed at the end when the "end game" message came up hahaha. I had to explain to her that game jams are stressful and you can never fit in everything you want to lololol. Good luck!

I really love the pixel art of the main character. Great idle animation too. I can see the idea here, pretty fun. The platforming controls and hit boxes need tightening up but I can see the vision on this one. Great idea!

I definitely built a Big Road Company. It was awesome, billboards as far as the eye can see! Capitalism at it's peak. Hahaha, great game and fun idea. Well done!

Nothing to be sorry for hahaha, this is the life of a Game Jam! Hopefully you learned some new skills or a new trick or two and now you're just that much better for next time! Keep making games!

Yeah, I was confused at first too until I realized that at the top right, that's basically telling you which direction the planet is gonna shoot off from your mouse from. Once you get that figured out, you can really start having fun with this one!

Holy crap I spent way too much time playing this. I eventually made a decent sized planet that actually had a small moon perfectly orbiting around it for probably like 50+ orbits around the sun. It was beautiful to watch. I don't know how this is related to the theme, but easily 5-stars for gameplay and how much I enjoyed it. I'm going to be following this!

Damn, I tried 3 times but it always kept giving me a symbol that wasn't on the board in the first level. So sad because this game looked like it was going to get pretty fun based on the screenshots. Regardless, cool idea and love the neon vibes!

Ended up spending more time on this than I expected. I was delighted to find another level after the first one! Interested base game for a broader strategy game if you built it out. Cool idea!

Great idea here! I love this "style" of game and it's fun to use the connection theme in this way.

5 Stars across the board. Wow man, really impressed. Can't say enough, music, gameplay, sound fx, art. All of it comes together for a perfect Game Jam game that is 100% on theme and super fun and enjoyable. My only gripe is I wish there were more levels! Fantastic job. Possible winner here imo.

Fun concept using this mechanic to cool PC parts lol, love it!

Great concept! Would be hilarious as a couch co-op game with friends!

I enjoyed flying through the air grabbin' potatoes! Hilarious idea.

This is great. Love this and think it's an awesome start to a great game! Well done everyone!

Great Pipe Dream clone! Works well for the theme and a really enjoyable play through! Awesome work.

Looks like this took a lot of effort! Couldn't get past the first puzzle but pretty cool idea!

Hahaha the jump animation just playing the full thing every time is hilarious. Floaty car!!!

Couldn't play, got an error: Couldn't load project data at path " . ". Is the .pck file missing?

Fun idea, I think it would be helpful for those of us who aren't musically inclined to maybe light up the keys while the tune is being played so we at least know what to try and do and let the mechanics of running around and hitting all the keys be the actual gameplay. Just my opinion. Super fun idea though!

Man, I wish it wasn't buggy, my cars just drive away and never follow the roads. I love mini motorways and wanted to see your spin on it. Nice effort though, I like the idea for sure!

Haha awesome. Yeah, definitely needed more playtesting/balancing. Some combos are way better than others lol.

Hahaha this is hard.
