Hey, I'm so glad you liked the game 😁 Unfortunately I won't be able to update the game, I'm currently working on my other games and managing my personal life of almost an adult at the same time 😂
But who knows, maybe there could be a chance in the future for Stick Standoff 2? 😛

I don't work on this game anymore and not sure how to make multiplayer too :)

That is awesome! Glad you liked it 😄

Thank you :D

The skeletons are like every other monsters. The crystal ball at the bottom-left corner shows you what pair you need to make at the moment :)

Thank you very much!

The unforgiving timer in the first level is my mistake :D I made it too challenging for new players...

Looks like we might have also forgotten to include WASD in tutorial :v

Big thanks!

That is a point of the game, to create pairs of two :D

Glad you liked it!

Thank you!

We had a great artist :D

'One Action Heroes GMTK 2019'

Good art tho

This might be  bug... but I don't think so as I checked. Every action here is completely based on physics, so sometimes it might appear that the jumps etc. are not always the same.

That's the worst thing with local multiplayer games right now :D

Thanks, I know... The AI for this game is not that easy to make, everything here is physic based and clumsy

(1 edit)

Wow! Thank you so much, I suppose it took you a good couple minutes to write this, which makes me impressed. You made the points well explained and clear :) I knew about couple of them very well, but some gives me more to think of :D

I'll try address some issues you mentioned :)

1. Talking about endgame; yes... it's bad, or it doesn't even exist. At all time making this game I was certain that anyone will last playing max 5 minutes, and won't (as it turned out after releasing it) beat my own highscores :D So I admit, the endgame exists ONLY when you lose, there's nothing else prepared.

2. The 'fishing bank' you mentioned is probably very confusing and especially when your income is eg. -10 fish, many people are confused if they're doing good or not. Getting rid of the fishing bank completely is probably the best idea I haven't thought of, or I thought this will be the highscore?

3. Drag and drop being how it is and pieces spawning on the map not outside - all I can say, is that was my first game jam, and as always I probably have focused more on the game's look :)

Once again big thanks! As you said, I'm probably not going to update it, but your criticism might have given me a better understanding from a player's perspective  :)

Hey guys, it's finally the time, I finished editing and published devlog of a game I made for Mix and Game Jam  :D

If anyone's interested, the video is below.

Have a nice day! :)

😃

Congrats!

Very good game, pretty art, good sfx and fun gameplay :)

I would only change that the power of shot would grow as you hold and shoot when you release instead of clicking twice :)

Thanks :)

Perhaps, but I think the player should have a bit more time.

Btw, I think I forgot to write something positive in my comment :D Overall the game is cool, I like shooting on a beat mechanic and art is very nice to look at :)

Very interesting :)

It's sad to lose a game when you just couldn't kill enough enemies, because they didn't spawn :/

My friend with MacOS also had problems :/

I rebuilt the MacOS version and uploaded it again, you can try with the new one, but if this doesn't work, then I can't help unfortunately :c

Thank you :D

:D

Very good game, and beautiful art :)

Lacks just a little more polish in couple places, but overall still good!

I think I didn't understand the rules :P

But looking great!

Ok, I built it haha. Hope it works :)

Not exactly mixing 2 genres I think :) But definitely a great idea and good gameplay with interesting levels :D

Thank you!

I know; having a fisherman on an element is random so sometimes you can be unlucky :D

Thanks :)

Thank you so much :)

I should make a better indication for cases when you can't place an element in given position, because currently it can be a bit confusing :P

Thank you :3

Hmm, I will try to build it for MacOS :

Pretty fun! Cool idea :)

Ok, here's mine :)

Very fun game!

Thanks :)

Emm, yeah it is random haha You have a chance of getting a fisherman, canteen or nothing. At the end it's probably not the best solution, because sometimes you can be really lucky or unlucky :P

Thank you ^.^

Oh wow, you're the first person getting all 5s from me :D

The game is brilliant in every aspect, very creative idea, amazing gameplay, awesome art and fitting music <3
