Thanks so much! Also, great to know I have a little more time than the uh.... 5 days I allowed myself. 😅

Hey hey! I'm starting to work on something for this jam but am not able to read many of the responses in the "Authorization to create fan content for the Beyond Dark Horizons game jam (Responses)" sheet. It looks like the cells are locked to a pretty small size in the read-only version, so much of the text is cut off. Would it be possible to set up the sheet to wrap text inside the cells so the responses are legible? Or, if others have found a way to expand the cells to read responses, lmk!

(Attaching a screenshot of what I mean in case it's unclear)

Super excited to make something and see what others have created too!

Thanks for the kind words! Do let me know if you get a chance to play!

Lol don't worry—I didn't have time to play either. It's all concept and vibes BAYBEE

Fun game—the element of protecting the house is super neat! I did find some of the planting and watering a bit wobbly (wasn't always sure if my mouse-click would register properly) but I thought this was a cool approach to the theme.

A sweet story, lovely illustrations and overall really well done!

This was really fun, clean, cute, and lovely to play!

Just wanna say I think a lot of us can relate to those feelings of creative anxiety and of our interests pulling us in many directions! In my experience, a little bit of persistence and a willingness to put things out there even if they're not exactly how you imagined them will go a long way. <3

So wholesome and simple in the loveliest possible way. Stellar colour palette and retro energy!

The feeling of the sand encroaching is really creepy and cool in this game, and the soundtrack is lovely. Like others, I had a hard time using the items and getting the hang of the inventory, but I think the concept is solid!

Thanks for the kind words! Would love to hear how it goes if you play it!

This is cute as heck and leans into its simplicity really beautifully. Nice job!

What a lovely poetic little journaling game! I'm such a sucker for the little drawings/colouring sections. This rules.

Aw this game is very sweet! Love the meeting of imagination & research in the prompts. Looking forward to playing it!

Neat take on Lasers & Feelings! The design of the document made it a bit hard to parse at times—I think you could give yourself more space to let the text breathe and not worry so much about fitting everything on a single page. What a cool setting tho! Love the idea of a community taking care of a dragon.

Had trouble with this on my mac but worked great on my partner's PC. A sweet, soothing, atmospheric experience.

I wasn't able to figure out the controls very well or progress in the game, but I have to say I really dig the graphics and the funky overall aesthetic!

This is such a charming game! The illustrated item sheets are such a lovely touch!
