Took me a bit to get used to but when I understood it I really enjoyed it, an excellent game, I'm a huge fan of how the sand spreads, looks really cool.

The feeling of the sand encroaching is really creepy and cool in this game, and the soundtrack is lovely. Like others, I had a hard time using the items and getting the hang of the inventory, but I think the concept is solid!

Quite cool, but definitely needs tutorial/hints and some work on UI.

The inventory is a bit confusing, due to the separation of the item on top and its actual count shown on the right. The night takes up part of the game time and in the morning you find yourself in the sand (I just bought a pot! And it was lost in the sand!). Grid works well and the game messages are really help! Fill like need button "sell all" or "some count" in the store.

The sand idea is interesting, maybe opportunity to get rid of it would be good (you’re a lonely farmer who’s come to conquer this desert!).

Thanks for playing the game!

It seems like the tool bar is interpreted as an inventory by many players. I need to make some changes there. I did not get around to making in-game playing instructions which I prob have to add later. Adding "Sell All" is a great suggestion, I'll add that so the player don't need to do those tedious clicking 100 times to sell 100 stones.

About the sand idea. I'm a bit confused if you want the sand to be disabled entirely or if you did not read the how to play instructions? The sand spreading and the counter action of this is basically what the entire game revolves around...

Maybe I wasn’t very clear, I meant the ability to clean sand cells. You can lose too many cells (and have no space). But, yes, it is a little contrary to the idea of counter action, if you can easily get rid of sand, hmm...

Ok, I get what you mean. Some kind of swipe/scope thing to remove sand. It's kind of handled indirectly by placing the trees and bushes close to the sand and their area of effect counters the sand. Anyway the game mechanics needs tweeking, it will take me some time to figure out in what directions I want the gameplay to go .

It’s nice to hear that you’re going to refine the game. Good luck!

The soundtrack is good and the gameplay is pretty addictive once you get the hang of it. Good entry!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! Still have a lot to refine in the game until I'm pleased with it.

It was a little hard to select the item I wanted without any text, I kept forgetting which seed packet was which. The sand effect was very cool! I liked the concept of stopping the sand from filling up your house.

Developer

Thank you! I will add some better description of items.

The concept is cool. There is really a lot of items and mechnisms that would take much effort to implement. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I spent alot of time making mechanisms for this game,so had some trouble finding time to add the actual content.

A bit confusing at the start but I love the music and the lighting! Day/night sequences + music result in a calm and soothing game so good job! Though I sold all my trees for a workbench but didn't figure out how to place it down or use it and was soon engulfed by a sandstorm :D

Fun experience nonetheless, good job!

Thanks! I tried to make it a soothing calm experience, kinda like a city building game feeling. One feature I wanted to bring in was that the option for the player to decide on how much trees to cut down in the beginning. So its fine tuning between getting gold and preventing the sand moving.

It is a cool concept! But it was really confusing on the beginning with the items and I didn't notice there was a store xD The music is relaxing and very nice! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for playing the game! I will take notice of players comments and try to make some adjustments. after the jam
