If you can, yes. The new content starts right after Rena gives the poison to the protagonist. 

A few scenes (like the encounter with Death, or the talk with Valerie before the battle) also have different dialogue now.

I'm not too sure about compatibility with the walkthrough mod since it's developed by a third-party, but I'd expect Joker will update it soon for v0.8.1.

Yup. There's some (minor) changes that will need to be made for a Steam release, but I plan to release it on Steam hopefully by spring of next year.

It's true that more time has been put into Rebel Duet lately. There's a few reasons for that, particularly its upcoming Steam release, and that I was feeling a bit burnt out with Casual Desires and having another project was my way of keeping busy in the meantime.

CD is important to me and, despite the long gap between Chapter 19 and Chapter 20, I'm committed to completing the game.

Both the second and third options will keep the door open for touching with other girls. There will be more choices later in the game where you can specifically define what you allow and don't allow.

Casual Desires is still being developed. Chapter 20 will be the next release after 0.8 of RD. 

It was released on Patreon yesterday, and will be available for free on itch on Friday.

The vast majority of the game is about the harem aspect. Sharing will be optional and easily avoidable side content, and is only planned for Valerie, the succubus heroine.

If you choose to have sex with multiple heroines at once (e.g. threesome), you can also decide whether or not the girls are allowed to touch each other, or just the protagonist.

I expect the beta will be on Patreon either Tuesday or Wednesday, so it should be released on itch on the weekend.

I'm expecting it will be released Tuesday or Wednesday. This update is about twice the size of a regular update (533 new images), so it took a little bit longer than expected. Sorry for the wait. 

There aren't any sex scenes with men yet, but there will be from Act 3 onwards if the player decides to. I'd also like to add an extra option to the prostitute scene in Act 2, where the female MC can pick a male prostitute instead. 

It's difficult to give an exact time, but v0.8 is just a few days - maybe a week - from release now. All the renders are complete, so I'm just finishing up the dialogue and coding.

The Steam demo includes just the v0.1 content, while the free itch version will cover up to v0.8. All updates from v0.9 onwards will then be part of the Steam and itch paid versions.

Thank you for the enthusiasm from China! I do plan on including an official Chinese translation, hopefully later this year. After the Steam release there should be enough funding to pay for translations, and Chinese is a top priority in that regard.

The next update (v0.8) will be released in roughly two weeks. It's the biggest update so far, which is why it's taken a little bit longer than usual.

Hey, thanks for the questions, and apologies for the late response.

There will be darker choices and scenarios, which can ultimately result in players entering the 'corruption' route of the story if enough of these dark actions were taken. For example, the next update will give the choice between showing mercy to the enemy or taking lives. I'll be adding a lot more of these good/dark choices over the course of the game, as well as some moral dilemmas where there isn't inherently a right or wrong answer. The MC and Valerie can choose to either reject or embrace their demonic temptations. 

I like your idea of being able to take the elven sister as a slave. This might be a bit difficult to implement right now, since Annestria plays a major role in the story and making her an enemy would require a lot of changes. But I think this is an interesting way to take both the dark route and sexual content, and I can add it as part of my long-term plans for the game.

1) Rebel Duet has a set ending point. I plan for the story to reach its conclusion at the end of Act 7, although it's possible there might be 8 or 9 acts in total if I choose to split the final story arcs (as they're quite large in scope). Not sure how many updates in total this might be, but Rebel Duet is still a long way from being finished. 

2) Free-roam segments is a good suggestion. It would make a lot of sense to have some free days where the player chooses where to go and who to talk to. I'll strongly consider adding this as a feature from Act 3 onwards, since all the main heroines will be available for romance then.
As for the scene gallery, this will be added in v0.9.

3) Sure, I could add more options to the settings for things like hairstyle preferences and character names.

The dev log for 0.7 has alternate download links that should work.

BDSM content will involve things such as ropes, collars, whipping, ball gags, public exposure, femdom, and more. I'm always open to suggestions players might have if there's something else they'd like to see.

At the moment, I'm focused mainly on the next two releases.

v0.8 (~June): Conclusion to the current story arc (Act 2). Significant additions and improvements to the training system, such as the ability to finally level up. Other minor improvements if time is available.

v0.9 (~August): Coincides with the Steam release. First hour or two of Act 3. Gallery mode is added, along with any remaining player suggestions on my to-do list.

Later in the game, there will be an option for Valerie (and/or the female MC) to create a penis with magic, for use in some training positions and sex scenes. 

(Players who are not interested in futa content can of course disable the option.)

Thanks for the question. You're definitely right that the concept of Death is a complex one, and that its perception varies from culture to culture.

From the perspective of the main characters, it's a terrifying and evil force that seeks only to inflict destruction. For the Harbingers (the cult that worships it), it brings peace and salvation. For Drovanians, Death rewards their deeds on the battlefield with honor in the next life (similar to the concept of Valhalla). And for the elves, it's a necessary cosmic force that is neither good nor bad.

I'll be going more into depth with this over the course of the story, as the main characters will be interacting with these (and other) groups of people.

By default itch only allows direct uploads for games that are 1 GB or less. I've tried requesting a higher limit on multiple occasions, but the itch support team has been incredibly difficult to contact.
