Hello, I am trying to do literally anything on this cool looking program and it only plays the preloaded MIDI screen with no sound. I am unable to load or delete anything. I see there might be an issue with running this on a Mac, which I am on. Any help anywhere?

Hello, my name is Tim and my last game jam was Game Off 2019. I had to work full-time during the pandemic so I am trying to find my game jam sea legs again. Ideally I am looking to work with a sound designer as part of a sound team to help better understand the workflow of that team dynamic while contributing via git. I’ve seen some sound designers’ work here so far and it all sounds incredible.
In past jams I would shoulder all the sound and music so this time I would like to work with someone who is more interested (or better at) design to offset that responsibility so I can focus more on composition. If the designer needs an original sound effect here or there I don’t mind making something, too.
Looking into a team now will help me coordinate with work, and the jam team, far enough in advance to set aside a healthy amount of dedicated creative time to make sure we all have something we’re proud of to have in our portfolio.
If I had any preference it would be to work with someone who prefers Wwise simply because it seems more professional studios use it.
I’m usually way more informal than this but it’s been a minute… or two. Anyway, git at me if interested! Thanks for reading.
Composer and sound. This is incredibly on brand for me. Please let me know if you’d like me to join your team. livinthedream1.bandcamp.com
Yo I just want to give a big ups shout out to the jam because I was super hung up on navigating through Git. Now, with a patient and open-minded team, they are helping me learn the ins and outs of pushing/ pulling/ and all this other stuff. Before I used to just focus on the quality of my role and now it's how I can assist the team better. Thanks for this jam- I have wanted to get this under my fingers for quite a while now and it's finally happening.
My first experience was watching an older person play through Shadowgate at a house party. I was just a kid but others sat around and watch the guy go through it. We were all captivated. I loved the cryptic puzzles, creepy isolated vibe, and how the castle became deeper and more mysterious. *spoiler* In Infested, I was just killed by the pilot and didn't see it coming. That is also a major element I think you nailed.
Hi all,
I too am a composer and composing for the NES with the 'ol Famitracker is an unfamiliar tool for me. My expertise lies in more modern DAWs, and this jam would be an exercise to become more familiar with the Famitracker ui. I'm looking for experience by offering a support role to a more accomplished Famitracker composer maybe by doing just sound effects only, or to a humble programmer that isn't trying to do anything too ambitious.
Please let me know, and don't forget to check out all the other composers' stuff! Thanks!
Hey guys, I'm trying to play this and this screen comes up with this message:

FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation
ShaderName: shd_removealpha
D3DXCompile failed - result

What do I do? The music starts but that's all.
Hey all, if anyone is in need of a composer / sound designer, I am available. My experience level is high with more professional sound software, but absolute noob level with LSDJ. Having said that, I'd like to make something with noob skills in LSDJ to keep things in authentic for this if someone wants to work together. This ad might be better for someone with a super simple idea that just wants to do something silly and experiment with stuff. Maybe someone will appreciate the charm of noobness? idk
Here is a game I put sound to for last year's GBJAM.: https://kyatt.itch.io/reap-what-you-sow
Thanks for your time!
Anyone want to link up? Here's a link to my most recent works: https://livinthedream1.bandcamp.com/album/xenolith-silent-open
Hey Greg. I do music and sex and wish to make a brutal brawler retro cart for the NEO GEO AES. I think fighting games are cool and maybe linking up with someone else who appreciates them might bring me closer toward my goal. What do you say, would you mind taking a look at my portfolio?
