Hi, this version does this to Foozles example.

ok will try thnx! also i think cast shapes might not be working correctly. in foozles 3d platformer example it isnt working

I mean this example, the character just floats and the cameras go through walls and cant climb slopes with 2.23.0 of the physics addon 

2.19.0 works tho

i think raycast doesnt work with the new addon updates, idk if its just me

like this, im using 8 direction instead of physics, moving green with arrow keys and blue wasd, this is 160 objects at 65% cpu for my pc, its my limit before i lag so maybe 80 is a good limit. theres prolly better ways. but its fine my game wont have so many enemies and slopes to raycast with, and flat ground i can turn off raycast

cool! im using raycast for player and enemies to get the floors z. it went from a laggy 20 enemies to no lag 100+ enemies. 

I saw there was a bug for rx cards, does it happen with opacity also? like setting object to 25% opacity. idk anyone with a rx card to test

my old project with lighting loads black screen now. do we still need the main.js for lighting? im getting this error, the same for your screendoor example. both load black

edit : just tried and all my models turned invisible, idk why. ill try again this weekend

Wow I only tested on my spare phone so far, and getting over 1 million on it is so good . Its a old cheap galaxy a32.

on - 600k-700k (60fps)

off - 600k-700k (40-45fps), 1.2m (20-25fps, 20%-25% better)

on - 900k-1m (60fps, 40%-50% better)

off - 900k-1m (20-25fps), 600k-700k (30-35fps, 10fps less than cp3 example)

i tested too with a normal 3070 laptop, i got like 600-700k before going under 60fps. and 40-45 fps with 600-700k without static. 20-25 fps at 1.2m without static.

on the link cristo1 send https://kindeyegames.com/stat/, i got 900-1m before going going under 60fps, without static i get 20-25 fps with 900k+ and with 600k-700k i get only 30-35 fps. this one is performs way better with static than the other one, maybe even 50% better, but without static the other one seems to be better? weird lol, is it because the first one is rotating on another axis too?

Before I start a 3d project, is there any plans in the future for this addon?  Any plans to port it over to SDK v2? Same question for 3d Physics and 3d effects. If so, does SDK V2 have anything new that can boost performance? Like more polygons on screen? 

Staying on an older version of C3 that's still using SDK v1 isn't a problem for me though.

Nice!!! Do you recommend we use this now instead of heightmaps? Like for slopes? And I guess tiled backgrounds wont work. I'll start using this for a summer project.

yikes, i'm already optimizing as much as I can to keep cpu low. this scares me lol. i wish we could use gpu more

got tired of waiting and just hacked it in lol. should be the new meta. all we need is a cool test game so scirra can see the possibilities. the performance is also wild. i was  expecting to use like 80% gpu for some reason lmao.

it always felt weird not having the best addon on the c3 addon page

i will start to play around lighting now.i didnt really follow ur updates but, is there directional lights yet? like a directional light that bakes for every object on start of layout?im making a big city and i want to light every building evenly at start of layout. only bake not realtime. and didnt you have one for sprites billboard>? what happen to that one

a prebaked direction light for each 3d object at any angle would be a cool option , is it possible?

cool  ! thinking of replacing all my enemies with this now. will this use deltatime by default in the future?right now  even adding *dt to impulse give different speed at 60hz and 144hz

im getting a lag at start of layout like freezing for a split second at start and many fetch in console with this update

wish they would just hire you already and give you full access to everything lol. this addon opened up so much on what we can create in construct.

just thought of a good game idea how to use this. there was this ghost in the shell game for ps1 where your a robot and u can scale walls and ceilings and stuff. this aiming looks good for it. hit me up if you wanna collab or something.

try to recreate it and send bug report.they usually fix everything fast. i can see tiny bit lag but barely cant notice it. just use workers 

does this replace the normal ssao? or do we use them together at the same time?

yea dont really need this, just thought would be a cool effect for ssao

yea iknow but that light doesnt change on ur camera view like ssao. seeing stuffs flat shaded where ssao would normally be would be cool
